Premiere League & World Soccer Thread

It almost looks like UT looking past Georgia St. and getting caught slipping. But, hell, UT didn't even sit their best player(s) for over half the game

I know nothing about Norwich City, but I love a green and yellow team. Probably, because my first basketball team was green and yellow, which made me fall in love in with Dennis Johnson and the Seattle Supersonics. Which is the best nickname ever, imo. But, anyway, since Bale is gone from the Spurs, Leicester City is my new team, Vardy can still play and I love Iheanacho, throw in the Wales' goalie, Ward and I got myself a new side

I can't even make predictions. I'm still depressed that Carlo left Everton.
I’m more than a little worried about the upcoming season. I’ve been supporting them for close to a decade, and while there has always been an undercurrent of negativity, there seems to be a full-on toxicity with the club right now. Haven’t been able to spend any money this summer. Still have the unfortunate child pornography situation going on with one of the players. Hired a manager who a substantial portion of the fanbase actively reviles, to the point that he almost certainly won’t be announced on the PA today as the reaction will be so negative. The club have even so badly screwed up the distribution of tickets that it’s going to be a nightmare getting into Goodison today, and a lot of empty seats because anyone who can’t make it to the match has no means to resell them.

Really the only positive news out of Everton this summer is they FINALLY started construction on the new ground, which is going to be amazing once it’s finished.

I see a lot of Arsenal fans hoping that Stan Kronke loses his lawsuit over relocating the Rams so that he'll be forced to divest some assets, meaning sell Arsenal. I'm starting to think that the best thing that could happen to Arsenal is relegation.
