Practice Updates?

Got to love this:

At one point, with Crompton under center, the coaches halted a play and Kiffin exclaimed, "Can we get somebody back there who knows our cadence?"

That is awesome... sounds like nobody gets a free pass. Put the best men on the field..... great concept.

Quick question on the jersey numbers. Why would they put the same numbers on Askew and King when they could very well be on the field at the same time at linebacker?

Did teague look good. I know he caught a td pass but did he look like he will be a good receiver.

I heard teague looked good...

also, heard that several different formations were used to isolate nuke and that he got the ball a lot and looks extremely fast as expected. Expect him to contribute a lot...

hardesty, oku, and brown reportedly looked great as well, especially hardesty

I see to remember message boards melting down in 2006 when Ainge was struggling early during camp. "Oh god, here we go again!" "Give JC a chance!" were common postings at that time. Lets see a couple of scrimmages before we throw anyone off the Henley Street bridge.

My money is personally on Stephens being the starter for the next 2 years because he makes better decisions and has a rocket launcher for an arm.

Personally, I'm intrigued with this whole new Crompton sucks in practice thing. Maybe this year he'll stink it up on the practice field and hit 25/30 for 310 yards and 4 TD's in the real game. :)

Me hailing from central Cali. and have only been around Fresno State and other near by Universities. This is all overwhelming, your guys intense watch of the first day of practice. I have to say that the volnation is by far the most passionate fans that i have come across. I have alway's heard that the SEC is one of a kind , but now i believe it. :good!:

Welcome to big orange country.:hi:

This coaching staff seems to have many connections... So why don't they possibly look into flying in the therapists that worked with Steve Sax and Chuck Knoblauch to have a sit down with the 'Stached One? Those worm-burners have to be a mental block.

I'm trying to give the kid the benefit of the doubt, but I've got a hard time believing a QB at this level having a difficult time throwing balls in PRACTICE. "We talking bout PRACTICE, not a game not a game, but PRACTICE man"

So, I've read that Rogan was spotted at practice yesterday. Does this mean he's still academically eligible for the season? Or do we not quite know yet?

Also, does anyone have a list of our injured players who will miss time during the season? I'm trying to keep track of all this.
