Practice #2 Updates 8.2.16

I said this same thing about Kerbyson as well as Coleman Thomas a couple of seasons ago and then the next season they both came out vastly improved. Lets not be too quick to jump to conclusions on who is anointed "The Guy".

It could be one is a practice all star and one is the reverse, not claiming any inside knowledge whatsoever. When the lights come on and it's game day it just clicks for some kids and others shrink. Coaches should demand everything they can from kids on the practice field, but recognize every kid has different fingerprints and traits. Kendrick impressed very few and played a lot last year, Richmond practiced a lot. Unless Richmond just stinks, which I doubt, you give him the nod to see how he does when the lights are on, the band plays, and he runs through the T for the first time IMO. If he can't get it done you then move to Kendricks or somebody else who will.

Kerbyson was horrible against a speed rusher... ..Kendrick is a clone.. Guard only

Overthrowing is good IMO, just need to get more loft on it so wrs can run it down, slot easier to fix then underthrowing and less likely to get intercepted. Can't wait till season starts

Brandon Johnson is going to be a baller. It's only one clip from today but he looked very polished.

Cody Blanc, Jay Rochelle and Joe Stocstill have all officially left the team. None were listed on today's roster per 247.

Thank you and good luck

Practicing a fake field goal at .24

nice.

Where's Jakob Johnson and Croom? At .42 I see Brooks (beast), Wolf Brothers (Eli getting bigger), and Craig (big but I have no idea who he is) but no JJ or Croom. Hmmmm.

Dare I say Fingers has a real grasp of the needs of volnation? Fingers on the pulse of volnation?

In one person's opinion... I'm willing to wait and see how this plays out before being concerned with Richmond.

I agree, a couple of the writers were saying that QB's and receivers looked good and then Brice says they were sloppy. Do these guys see the same portions of practice?

So, Richmond needs to win the starting job if he wants to start. Mind boggling.

What he's saying is if Richmond isn't the clear favorite then Butch will do what he always does, put experience over talent. For reference see 2015 Jumper, Colton

Ladies and gentlemen, if these guys can get their pass game together it will get real real, real fast. It will get outright deadly. I would LOOOOOOOOOVE to see it happen.
