Thing is, he probably ends up being right. JG looks awesome. He just wants to start the same tired debate by the same tired method of declaring it as a fact. Even he doesn't buy the pleas of "positive" innocence. :)

It is an informed opinion. He looks great out there. He has the best arm and was the highest rated of the qbs we have by far. Even RTI said he will be our qb. I'm not the only one who thinks this.

The future does look bright.

It happens sometimes with age differences. I think of my cousin's kids more like nieces and nephews than cousins. And some of my older 1st cousins were closer to my parent's age than mine and probably thought of me more like that than a cousin - I even thought of one cousin's husband as like the stereotypical cool uncle (you know the one who slips you a taste of alcohol at a wedding when no one is looking but doesn't let you get yourself in too much trouble). :)

I'm starting to believe that Dobbs is going to come out of the gate firing missiles everywhere. It makes sense with all the talk in the off season about his passing and then him attending camps and working so hard on his passing game all off season, and then Butch making a point say " a QB is only as good as those around him." I keep watching that Georgia game last year, you know how we won that and looked good doing it? The passing game. I'm telling you we have a barn full of young receivers right now too. If a couple of those guys get hot hands and Dobbs gets in an unexpected rhythm we will be winning a LOT of games in style.

He can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's Ocho who started calling Brandon nephew, because that's how he feels about him

He definitely looks the part. I love his confidence too. I hope his play doubles his talk.

Hard for me to get crazy expectations based solely on physique though. Jacques Smith broke me from that mindset for good.

It's a SELF informed opinion. The coaches aren't trotting out the "best arm", "highest rated" or "RTI" endorsed candidate. They'll put out the QB that runs the offense and can break down the defense. If that's Guarantano, great. He has a good chance. Trying to continually get an argument out of this makes you look goofy.

Well ya don't say? I totally thought that the coaches would start who VN and RTI wants.

No one is trying to argue but you. You claim to be neutral on who starts and that the best man will win the job. Yet you never, ever have these takes when someone says Dormady will start. Lecture the Dormady guys about the coaches making the decision. If not don't say anything when someone says JG will start.

I may be late on this, but I didn't see Josh Smith in any videos? Did he miss for some reason or did I just not catch him in any video clips?
