I've spent parts of the past two days listening to old 45 rpm records from a collection that was Wifey's moms. Today is the 4th month since she passed. One of the records had her name on it. Seems like she had co wrote it with a man in Nashville.when on a vacation years ago. it wasn't much of a song to be honest but is a good memento for the family. Can't wait to play it for the grand kids and great grands next time we are all together. Most all of the records are in great shape. they have been in storage for 40 years.. I had to go buy a record player so I could play them. I have gotten about a third of the way thru the whole collection.

Cochise....Little Joe's (Michael Landon of Bonanza) horse, Cochise, was cut up by a slasher bastard that snuck into his stables one night...The horse had to be destroyed.....Michael loved that horse....

Guys, this is worth watching....To quote a famous playwright, "The evil that men do, often lives after them, the good is interred with their bones."

Sad day today...

Wifey & I took our 14 yo mini dachshund to the vet today to evaluate his health situation. He had become diabetic, totally blind and not eating hardly anything. We decided to have him put down after hearing what the vet had to say. Wifey is a mess and I ain't much better right now. We gave him a wonderful life after finding and rescuing him from a hoarder breeder 13 years ago. He repayed us in total love and devotion.

Sorry for your loss. We had a similar thing happen to us last year with a small dog we had for 14 years. Still miss her!
