Leave them all dammit this is Tennessee not freakin LT.
Dude, I'm pretty sure we hired someone from N.D. last year. Not Notre Dame, North Dakota. Chill with your small thinking. Everyone starts somewhere.
You forget...as of Friday, we are now officially "the University of Low Expectations.". We can't go after promising coaches. They don't fit our depleted budget. If we lose Chaney, GOD forbid, then I say we go after Jeff Jagodzinski. He should be sitting on a couch somewhere waiting for a call.

It has to be someone nobody has ever heard of, or from a losing team...those are the only guys qualified for Hamilton's staff.
You get a clue...this happens every year. You act like coaching hires are a sudden catastrophic event. Every coach that has any level of success knows some schools will come calling. So, there's no way, as you proclaim, that this caught Wittingham, Peterson, Patterson, Edsall, etc...offgaurd.Please explain to me who we should have gotten that would be willing to come so late in the recruiting season that we didn't already try to bring in. I love UT, and Yes, it is still a top level job. But, not to understand the position that the previously unnamed coach put us in is simply ignorant. Lame's untimely leaving is much more of the problem than Hamilton ever was. Just seems to me that too many people think we can just wave our "UT" wand and Coach Lambardi, himself will appear and lead us to victory. Get a clue!

Thank you for playing...now tell him what lovely parting gifts he's won, Bob!

So you don't want what could be two up and coming coaches because they are at LA Tech? How else will small school coaches prove they have what it takes without bigger schools giving them chances. Sometimes I question the intelligence of some posters.

You still didn't answer the question. Yes, this does happen every year. But, we did offer several other coaches the job. And, unless you have some sort of spy in there, how do you know who else they called to see if there was any interest? But, you probably right. Hamilton is set on picking the worst coach available!ost-4-1090547912:
