Hill is a good looking prospect at RB... He's big and fast he just needs time to learn. He's a lot better than I thought coming out of high school. Props to Dooley and Co. for their evaluation on him. Smith is a downhill runner and looked good in the O&W game, but it was against back-ups mostly. He will provide depth and see action on special teams.
Bullard has the center position to lose IMO. Yes, Crowder did have a good spring and put his name into the equation, but Bullard is more physical and has been playing with the guys longer.
Both V. Dallas and Z. Rogers were disappointing this spring. They had a great opportunity to progress and get quality reps due to the overall lack of depth and did nothing to help their status like Carter did... The new guys should step in and once they become acquainted with the system and SEC football, they will be the quality depth and starting slot guys for us.
Thanks for the info. Good stuff. I hope we get the chance/have the depth to redshirt some of these young prospects (i.e. Hill, Croom, Bowles, Bourque, etc...) and I feel that would do so much for this team for the future to be able to actually not have to play freshman.
