I'm wondering what symptoms other folks are having after Covid 19.
I cant confirm that I had it because I believe I caught it on Dec 22 of 2019. I was so sick that I wrote down my symptoms in my work ledger. It took me approximately 2 months and 1 doctor visit before I felt like I wasn't sick anymore. After that I had weird symptoms that I could answer through being middle aged and out of shape.
But, it's 1 year later and I'm experiencing things that doesn't make sense to me. Number 1 symptom for me is my mouth. I constantly feel like I have thrush/scalded mouth. I used to love spicy foods and now ketchup/table salt makes my mouth uncomfortable. I constantly feel like my mouth is raw. Eating normal spicy things like normal buffalo wing sauce is painful when I could eat raw habanero and enjoy it before.
I have joint pain, body aches, or just lethargy that I probably shouldn't have. I'm not gonna lie I'm 45 and not the most healthy person but I do athletic things with my son. I was very athletic in my adolescence. I'm still pretty active for my age I believe.
I already worried about my mind, but my memory issues/cognitive ability seems to have taken a big hit Especially when the sun goes down. I can get a fog that I just want to recede into mindless functions of watching tv and not having to think. This hurts me in my job.
Has anyone else fought with issues like this ? Especially the mouth thing. The taste problem is the number 1 issue that I fight with regularly day to day. I could probably write the other stuff off to old age, but food is one of my luxuries in life and this is causing me daily distress.
Thoughts??
