Maybe ZA is looking elsewhere because he is tiffed that the job has been offered to one of his Elders. ZA is a position coach, great recruiter, and friend to the players. Not an OC.

Why is he not an OC? What do you base that on?

It's Tampa. Coach Azanni is the one rumored to CMU I believe. I don't think you see anyone follow to Tampa, but you could definitely lose some guys if Z heads to CMU and offers promotions.

I think it's crazy that ZA could be a HC and he's never even called plays. Before anyone says he was OC at WKU, Willie Taggart called the plays. Taggart's offense and what ZA is used to, are not even close.

A little birdie told me that both Glenn Warner and Dave Nelson are throwing their hats in the ring for the OC job.

Edit: me personally, I like Glenn Warner since he is really the father of the read option offense.
