I've always supported my university as a lifelong vol fan and alumni, but I've had it. This decision not only hurts our program, but it hurts the city of Knoxville economically. Knoxville had a buzz when I went to college here in the 90s. Game days were exciting. Now it's a beautiful place to live with great people and complete apathy for a once proud program among very proud fans.

If your done, then I suggest you leave here and find another forum that suits your taste better than this one. Perhaps a Vandy Message Board would be more to your liking. We got enough Nega-Vols already. GBO!

This HIRE SUX! I can't believe we stooped this low to get a northern no talent loser like we did. We should fire the AD right now. Just because we had one immoral coach and then one who couldn't win is NO reason we couldn't get our #1 choice.
This is rediculous. I'm selling my season tickets and not ever going to donate again.
We had a chance when we had a coach with some fire and some guts to go up against the NCAA, but now we've just given up.

I AM OUTA HERE!!

Hey Tenneseee Jed, I'm all Vol. I'm glad to give you my address to come find out. Just disappointed like half our fans, but I support coach Jones. And I'll get behind the team. I just think we went the cheap route, but I hope he surprises. Go Vols!:loco:

Kiffin is a good gameday coach on O. He's an outstanding offensive playcaller.

Dooley was terrible on gameday and cut his own throat by hiring Sunseri.

You are right about the recruiting part. His press conf made me think he'll do just fine as a closer. That's the HC's main job anyway.

I think he NEEDS Jay Graham to stay. If I were in his shoes I'd be willing to keep the whole O staff minus Coiner. The only D coach I would consider keeping in Conklin who IMO just got caught up in a bad deal. He's a very good young coach.

The man has won whereever he has been, already a better start than the last coach. Plus, does this mean Peterman starts net year,if so like it more already.

I am worried as well but Brian Kelly never had a class under 50 and ND currently has the no.3 ranked class per rivals

Hey dumba$$, get off the man.. It's not his fault he was hired.. He was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime and guess what, he took it.. You want to be mad at someone, be mad at the BOT, faculty and the AD's office. If they don't get their sh!t together, fix their problems and go all in on getting the football program back to the top it will not matter.. Successful or not he will be gone in a few years, either hired away or fired....

So get off Coach Jones nut sack and write a letter to Dave, Jimmy and the BOT to express your displeasure..

Damn, some of you people are beyond stupid...
