POSITIVITY!

We won twice as many games as we lost.
I’m old enough to remember ole Brick by Brick.

Go VOLS
I second this sentiment. Seems like only a few years ago we were pining away for the days where an 8 win season was a disappointment and saying we would never take it for granted again, yet here we are.

I think everyone should come on this thread and say one positive thing about this season or anything positive about coaches and players.
I’ll go first . I believe Josh Heupel is the right coach for the Volunteers and I’m thankful he came . Y’all’s turn.
i've got lots to say. JH lost his starting QB and found a diamond in the recycle bin. we are halfway functioning defense away from beating oklahoma and uga.

I had us at 9-3 losing to Bama, UGA, and UF.

Beating FLA at their place almost takes away the sting of 8-4. I really don’t know what last Saturday does to that calculus. I still taste vomit in my mouth

1. We won an overtime game on the road.
2. We won in Gainesville.
3. Brazzel had 1,000 yards receiving and Bishop needs 1 yard to reach 1,000 yards rushing.
4. This program is in much better shape than the not so distant days of Senator Orange Britches, Butchie Boy, and Beldar.
5. Its the Holiday Season! Merry Christmas

Biggest positive of the season for me: I met an absolutely amazing woman while waiting in line to get into the Vols-UGA game this season. I let her cut in line, we got to talking during the long wait to get to the gate, and we’ve been going strong ever since.
Wow that's awesome man. Congrats, wish you well.

Vitello is making a huge move. His patience was probably warranted
That’s fair. Someone always seems to leak these stories so early in the process that a coach doesn’t have time to decide before everyone knows something is happening.

We can’t depend on media to cover anything that matters, but when it comes to entertainment they will do whatever it takes to get ahead of the action.

In a year that I was not sure how our Offense would perform we saw significant successes. Thankful for Joey Aguilar stepping in and learning the system and having a pretty decent year. At the beginning of the year I predicted 7-5. There are definitely changes to be made in my opinion such as DC, STC, and Secondary Coaches. Of course the way the regular season ended still stings mainly because the last time I saw Vandy beat us at home was back when Cutler was still playing there. All that being said Go VOLS!
