POSITIVITY!

We aren't having to hire a coach this coaching cycle. Our recruiting class is currently #8 in the nation and there may still be a few more additions. We are now a year more experienced and our team will be over 60% blue chip next year. Ethan Davis is going to be a consistent weapon next season. It was nice to beat Florida in Gainesville and end the Arkansas losing streak. Florida didn't get Kiffin. Joey's mom is hot.

I just saw on YouTube that Tennessee’s DTs were the lowest rated DT group in the SEC on performance. DEs were slightly better but did lead the league on sacks. The problem was stopping the run. About all the defense was good at were sacks.

That HAS to change. I like sacks. They can end the drives but that can’t be the only thing you do. Over have no chance if DL plays the run this poor.

I think everyone should come on this thread and say one positive thing about this season or anything positive about coaches and players.
I’ll go first . I believe Josh Heupel is the right coach for the Volunteers and I’m thankful he came . Y’all’s turn.
It was an opportunistic defense just not a great statistical one. The offense unexpectedly shined with Aguilar at QB. There, that’s two positive things. I do wish the season had gone better though. We were right there with GA and should have won. Shoulda won the OK game going away.

Revisionist history says we just lose the AL game and have a wholly different mindset going into Vandy. Maybe that woulda been enough for a playoff bid at 10-2.

Playoffs don’t seem to matter these days when you have a bought and paid for pseudo-NFL team at OSU.

Everyone is accountable from the AD on down for how the season unfolded. Hopefully they get it right next year with all the talent coming in.

I was proud of Ty Redmond defending well in one on one coverage in the first half.

I’m glad we kicked Florida in the nuts while they were down.

I had a really great time at the Chick fil A kickoff game in Atlanta.

I really enjoyed bringing my son and niece for a campus visit over Arkansas weekend. Eat it, Petrino.

I'm positive I don't want to play Golesh in Neyland next year. My sister is an auburn fan.
Yep. Heupel is gonna have to face both Golesh and Kiffin next year. I'm positive he's going to have some sleepless nights next season. Good luck with that.

I'm positive that Mike Matthews will probably get a big raise for dropping at least 4 tds and a few more passes this season. But wait, He's a 5 star!!!

We would have played the run better if our DC would have figured out it’s not against the rules for the QB to actually run the ball across the line of scrimmage
