MackMack, Blanco, Moore would go to the pen before Kuhns. Kuhns is the ace I’d imagine.
I think that’s right, now that I think of it. I would imagine Blanco goes at the other one as a lefty. I don’t think there’s a chance Moore ends up here. Just doesn’t make sense for him.Mack
but think you’re right on the other two. I think they have Mack and Kuhns penciled in for weekend slots and the 3rd one is up for grabs. Of course Kuhns and Mack will have to earn the right to keep those slots in fall ball but they will
I have a feeling that Blanco signs with MLB. Barr and Estrada likely sign with MLB as well. No way Kuhns moves to the pen. He’s a weekend starter in 26. FWIW, I think Ford goes the way of MLB as well. HS recruits Carlson, Steele, and Schoolcraft go MLB route as well. I think Appenzeller makes it to TN. Moore 50/50 but I think he makes it to UT.That would give us 4 weekend rotation guys, so unless Kuhns moves to the pen something isn’t adding up
I would be absolutely floored if Blanco signs. He's not a top 250 draft prospect. It just doesn’t make sense for him to do that. We lose a surprise player to MLB every year. Blanco might be this year’s surprise, and Baseball America lists him as a top 250 pick—granted neither MLB or PG has him ranked. It would be a surprise but is certainly a possibility.I would be absolutely floored if Blanco signs. He's not a top 250 draft prospect. It just doesn’t make sense for him to do that. It’s not that I don’t think he could get drafted in an adequate spot. It’s just that I think Tony and staff won’t let it happen. With how thin our LHP is, I think this is something they were probably really proactive and selective with. Him signing would leave us in, quite frankly, a really rough spot.We lose a surprise player to MLB every year. I think the surprise pick may very well be Grimmer this year based on Joe Doyle. Maybe Tyler Myatt but I feel like it will be a hitter. Ford for sure is the biggest threat we need to make it to campus. We lose a surprise player to MLB every year. Sounds like Moore will take an under slot value deal, he’s probably goneI have a feeling that Blanco signs with MLB. Barr and Estrada likely sign with MLB as well. No way Kuhns moves to the pen. Yeah my guess as of today is Blanco is the 3rd starter.I think that’s right, now that I think of it. I would imagine Blanco goes at the other one as a lefty. I don’t think there’s a chance Moore ends up here. Just doesn’t make sense for him.
Agree that you have to be ready for a surprise tonight. Some will go our way, some won’t. Very possible Moore is the contingency for Blanco signing. We lose a surprise player to MLB every year. We’ve had 4 weekend starters before. That would give us 4 weekend rotation guys, so unless Kuhns moves to the pen something isn’t adding up

Geography is always an advantage for those schools. Georgia still had good recruiting years even when Fulmer was pulling guys from there.Yes we made the CFP, but we’re still 2nd tier in terms of recruiting. We’re not on the same stage as UGA, LSU, Texas, and AM in terms of recruiting elite talent.
Maybe not AM, but LSU has more recent Nattys.Geography is always an advantage for those schools. Georgia still had good recruiting years even when Fulmer was pulling guys from there.
Yet, we were very comparable to the 5th/6th ranked team last year with the average player rating and the number of 4 stars. We’ve also beaten LSU and A&M in the last 3 years, so those schools are not ahead of us right now.
