Tony Vitello announces the signing of Wes Rucker as the "Voice of the Twitter Vols". Wes will handle all social media for the BaseVols and will stand in for Tony on all radio/TV interviews going forward. "We look forward to Wes providing the direction for our forward facing media. They say that athletics is the front porch of a university. There is nobody we would rather have on that front porch than Wes", said Vitello.

Wonder if that mean Conrad or another pitcher. Hard to get excited for Conrad I do not see him making it to campus. I would like the USC arm that was on campus through today.

Blanco. Think they’ll still add another arm too, and maybe a middle infielder though we will.

They might do an outfielder if it’s a guy that’s just a no brainer to turn down but they’re starting to get pretty filled up there especially since they feel like Ford likely makes it in. Maybe you try to line up some insurance in case Ford goes pro

Would be interested to see who is on their list at middle infielder because there is not a ton of top guys out there. Also wonder if they view Blanco as a weekend guy or long-reliever/spot starter like Arvidson this year.

Drew Wyers from Bryant visited last weekend. Maybe that’s who we land on for MIF help.

He never made it.

I’m not sure they add an infielder at this point. They had a few cooking but guys committed elsewhere.

I am honestly fine with our internal options in the infield. Allows someone like Abernathy, Newstrom, High, or Myatt to get reps.

I like Newstrom at 3rd, Marin at SS, Abernathy or Myatt at 2B, and Ford or Grimmer at 1B. Still have depth just maybe unproved guys that have to step up.

If we're done in middle infield and Blanco commits, this is my guess unless we pull off a stunner with Schoolcraft or Appenzeller.

There will be some freshman that will slot in somewhere. I don’t know where, but every Vitello team has a freshman playing somewhere. I bet one, if not both of Appenzeller and Schoolcraft make it.

I have absolutely no knowledge about it whatsoever but I do wonder if Levi Clark is going to be good with being the DH for another year.
