Landon Mack had a great outing in the USA Collegiate National Team scrimmage the other day. Lots to be excited about. Mixes speeds very well and has movement on every pitch. Struck out Roch Cholowsky (first batter he faced), who is a potential 1/1 pick in next year’s draft. Mack came in the bottom of the 3rd:

He is ranked the 28th best prospect in the upcoming draft. If he were to somehow fall in the draft and come back to school, it’s definitely a guy you want.

This guy probably never makes it to campus, but you never tell him no.

I mean we all thought guys like Baby Rucker and Manny Ramirez kid were going to make it to campus and play early until they just didn’t. Although I think Conrad is 100% using us as a bargaining chip and has no real intention of playing here (unless he plummets in the draft)

Oh yeah definitely I think he would have been one of those Core 4 FR bats we had this year had he made it. Last I checked he was batting .300 in rookie ball so I definitely think he could of played. which is crazy to think we’d have 5 Bats locked up for 2 more seasons with him Manny, Levi, Jay and Newstrom
