South Carolina would be closer to home for Loy; trading Tennessee for Missouri is like trading the penthouse for one of those man-made huts in the "Man vs. Wild" showDesperate for pitching in the east is only Missouri and USCe unless I’m mistaken on everyone else’s rosters. I don’t think Vandy, Georgia or Florida would be desperate. Maybe Kentucky would
Portal CommitsCan someone post a running list of portal commits + targets?
Let me put a finer point, respectfully:At UT, my value proposition would be:
1) better environment, living conditions, and travel
2) excellent development and coaching
3) chance to develop into 1st rounder
4) track record of getting guys drafted and into big leagues quickly
5) chance to compete at the highest level and for championships
6) get your degree with zero debt
Caveat that it’s impossible to predict perfectly right now as they still are after some big fish and lots of these guys can play numerous spots, but give me:So, assuming Ford does play for us, what does the lineup look like for us next year?
C: BG Transfer
1B: Ford
2B: Open?
SS: Marin
3B: Newstrom
LF: Clark
CF: Abernathy
RF: Open?
Forgot Myatt. He gives you another Right handed bat for the DH spot or can play in the OF too. There will be lots of optionsCaveat that it’s impossible to predict perfectly right now as they still are after some big fish and lots of these guys can play numerous spots, but give me:
C - Wright/Lawless
1B - Clark
2B - Advincula/portal guy
SS - Marin
3B - Newstrom
LF - Abernathy
CF - Newman
RF - Ford
DH - Schoolcraft/Grimmer
Friday - Landon Mack
Saturday - Tegan Kuhns
Sunday - Brayden Krenzel
Batting order would look something like:
1 - Newman
2 - Advincula
3 - Ford
4 - Wright
5 - Clark
6 - Schoolcraft/Grimmer
7 - Marin
8 - Newstrom
9 - Abernathy
