I think its because its a very dynamic situation. My guess is we have a nugget today but no real news until the bidding wars settle down.

Or, if history is anything, there’s not much happening recruiting wise because we’re busying putting out fires within the program. Nico leaving has definitely ruffled feathers, but it’s also most likely scared some of the current guys into thinking of walking as well.

My best guess, based years’ actions, Heupel and company will ride with Merk and get a relatively cheap QB option as a backup. And then grab a few new guys to plug some holes.

Calling BS on that. I had a 300+ pound tuna on an undersized rod last august. Picked it up bouncing a kid off the bottom…….3 1/2 hours later…..no way do I want any part of that with a fly rod.

Here's to hoping players like this who transfer multiple times see limited options in the portal. Coaches need to stick together and regain control of the sport. NCAA isn't going to do it.
