Pope: There Is No Hell

The Pope will open his eyes in hell when he dies if he don't repent from his wicked religion and receive Christ as his Lord and Savior! :hi:

You have not taken the Sacrements. Enjoying burning in Hell.

See how easy it is. You are going against the Church of St. Peter. Might as well be Jewish to keep from hell.

The Pope is called the holy father, his priests are called father. Believe what you choose to believe.

well, aware. I have called my dad "father" more than I have ever referred to a priest as such. If God sees that as a sin I will bear it.

still doesn't answer what does that have to do with the op

Ok...having a human intercessor in a box to pray for them and pass out hail Mary's and punishments from supposedly God. Christ is the ONLY intercessor ever needed, not some clown in a wood box

Praying to Mary, and other "saints"...that's Idol worship...period...God said "there shall be no other gods before me"

Those are just 2 off the top of my head...there are many, many more...idol worship got Israel torched a couple dozen times in the old testament, and they are Gods chosen ones...not us gentiles. I am sure he will go easy on the Catholics though...

Oh, and apart from widespread child molestation, and covering it up...and celibacy, which God never called anyone to do in the new testament...look up "indulgences" that's where Catholic priests and the church allowed people to buy sins for donations..like sex with boys, sex with little kids, sex with animals, adultery, etc...those chapels were expensive bro...tower of Babel ring a bell? The Catholic church has done more to pervert and destroy real Christianity throughout history than any other religion or institution. It isnt close...and the church was fouunded by Peter the Magus, not the apostle Peter...scripture proves that the only years Peter could have gone to Rome was when he went there to slay Pater(father) Magus for perverting Christianity...the Bible actually tells of the meeting between Peter and the apostles and the founder of the Catholic church, the Magus...the real Peter rebuked him for tricking the people with his sideshow magic. Told him to repent and seek Christ. Look it up....

Slice has a good link.

so you have a problem with people.

repentance is not punishment.

the Mary and Saints thing is so laughable. We ask them to pray for us. we don't pray to them. Its like saying anytime you ask for prayers from someone irl you are idolizing them.

Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with you. blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb jesus. Holy Mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

part of that is straight up from the bible when Ruth(?) greets the pregnant Mary. the second part is asking Mary to pray for us. How are we praying to Mary if we are asking for prayer?

I am trusting in Jesus Christ and him alone to get me to heaven. What Jesus did on the cross of Calvary as sufficient payment for my sins. By faith trusting in his death, burial and resurrection and promise from the word of God to save them that believe!

Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I certainly believe that many humans have, and always will, misinterpreted religious texts in order to exploit others.

That said, with regard to Catholic Dogma, that which the Catholic Church believes to be unerringly and eternally true, which tenets would you say are misinterpretations and, of those misinterpretations, which would you say were for the benefit of the humans who misinterpreted the Bible in such a way?

In case you are unfamiliar with Catholic Dogma, I will provide the entire Dogma below, that is, all of the things one must believe as unerringly true in order to be an actual Catholic:

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

NB: Note that in the final paragraph, "catholic" is not capitalized; i.e., it is not, there, a proper noun. Thus, the first sentence of the final paragraph is equivalent to:

"I believe in one, universal and apostolic Church"

The Credo encompasses all the fundamental Catholic beliefs and belief in the Credo is sufficient for Catholicism.

The rest of the Catholic Church is at the level of Doctrine and below.

I was going to post this. reading a bunch of this stuff is even worse than hearing Luther talk about guns.

I think it's ironic that protestants say the Creed. I wonder if they understand the apostolic bit and if they see that nothing in the creed says it's a biblical church.

You left out the verse you quoted. 10

I wonder how many of them are made uncomfortable by it, the Creed?

The Pope has obviously not sat through a Tennessee/Alabama football game the last 9 years.

Now that is Hell.
