Having a basic fundamental understanding of business and economics helps. Or, just common sense......

When paying customers no longer show up and pay, the business takes notice. They are effectively put on notice. Either fix your business model or not. If not, then your business will fail...........

They’re already gonna be paid regardless why let a few morons decide whether or not you go to a game

I will NOT be at the game because Wife is having Chemo today and kids are coming in tonight.

But that is the ONLY reason! I want Butch Gone, but this EmptyNeyland Sh*t is STUPID BS!! :neener2:

And whoever came up with it is Jort Wearing, Special Snowflake, Bammer Doucher!! JMO

.

I hate that for your wife and family. Hang in there.

And yes, the emptyneyland stuff is garbage.

And some might be claiming, that the coach can be paid regardless, so why let one (with so much evidence, while here, mounting against his ability) continue with the reigns.

I think GA was saying he thinks a lot of people claiming they aren't going were never going in the first place.

Oh. Lol. You have a very good point. I'm going. It's hard for me to not go. I live in Knoxville. I will not be buying any concessions though.

I've got 2 sets of season tickets. I'm giving two tickets to two of my relatives. If I don't want to use them, that's my business. If I want to give them up, that's my business. I've seen Tennessee play over 330 times in person. How many times have you spent the money to see the Vols play? Just curious.
Also, I know a joke when I see one. And Butch Jones is a joke.
no idea how many games I've been to. I've never really sat down and counted. It's a bunch over the last 30 years. I've been to Knoxville twice this year and will be back for the Vandy game. Gave away the other tickets. Living 200 miles away, I don't even want to think about the time and money I have invested lol.

Just to be clear, I'd never tell you how to spend your time or money. Whatever you decide to do is legitimate because it's what what you decide to do. I'm genuinely curious though who the real "protestors" are vs the posers who are just whining and aren't giving up a thing.

My argument against this has nothing to do with people's choice. It's about the impact that people think a Twitter movement is supposed to have at this point.

Based on this poll so far it looks like the stadium will potentially be about 1/3 empty. That leaves roughly 70k fans going. You can spin it many different ways. But, if Neyland only has 70k fans in it, that ain't good my friends

Gotcha. I thought you meant something else. Vollygirl set me straight. Sorry. I'm going tomorrow. I love to go. I know it's not going to be the true Neyland. I just hate to waste money. I do NOT plan on buying any concessions. I know it's not gonna make much of a difference.
Im pretty sure Butch is gone at some point this year. I do not support Butch in any way. I am so ready for a change.

I have been to over 300 games as well. Been going to games for 34 seasons

That's a bunch of games. I've been going to games for over 30 years and have been to about 65-70. At one point I had a 75%+ win rate. It's down to at best something like 50-50.

How's your and 1962's win ratio(roughly?)?

At the OU game in Norman, one of their fans said she had been to 34 home game and never saw a loss. At the time I was impressed with how they stripped their stadium, once we checked ours, they looked like chumps.

Go Vols!

Beat SM.

Ps. I was never going to the SM game, so I didn't vote. I am going to the mizzu game. I hope they lead all the way up until the end.

Nothing like a sad face of an opponent's fan.

It's an insult to General Neyland to use his name when drumming up support to boycott the Vols.

I think most the people on here that claim to be vfl are really butch supporters. Sooner or later you have to take a stand against butch jones. Its gotten pathetic. Supporting the players are one thong but supporting that pile of sh*t is another. And everytime you sit down in that seat and spend your money on concessions , Your basically saying thanks again butch.....Biggots...

I intend to tailgate as always. Then, I will go to Neyland for the opening kickoff. I will then take a dump. And leave.

No option for those of us who have tickets but have other priorities this weekend? I'm not 'not going' to make a grand statement (although I'm eagerly awaiting the day Jones is no longer employed by the UTAD), I'm not going because I've got to prepare for some travel coming up next week.

It doesn’t matter either way.

Whether Butch is fired after Southern Miss or at the end of the season, it’s not going to change Currie’s outlook on things.

He’s going to do the coaching search his own way and emptying Neyland Stadium won’t change a thing.

No he's not. The boosters have their hands up his azz like a puppet. If he goes rogue he won't be here his full year.

"Empty Neyland" is actually a Russian Influence and Diversion Effort originally financed by South Carolina, but later the bill was picked up by Kentucky. So obvious.:D
