It’s a struggle for me to watch an entire game on TV from my couch with a fridge full of beer. Driving 4 hours to see this product live hasn’t even crossed my mind. And that’s bad because there hasn’t been much that I love more than being on that campus and reminiscing on my old school days.

Some of us actually want things to change, going to games is not how you get that message across. Maybe we care more about the program while you care more about the team.

If you really want change......get
Yourself a dynamite vest. Then we can really force some change.

You know everyone looks great in the perfect vest. Something that looks really dynamite. Looking sharp is the first step to change.

Meh. My father and I won't be hitting the majority of (if not each of) the home games like in the past (this was something we've been discussing for the last year or two, and then the COVID mess kinda cinched it in terms of finally making the call, so to speak). Given that the majority of our regular in-person attendance occurred between 2011 and last year, it's not like some crappy seasons were enough to keep us away in the past.

It's not so much out of protest at this point for us...it's more about living 4 hours away from Knoxville and having other priorities at this point in life. After this season's spectacular dumpster fire, it's just difficult prioritizing the time and money to watch several hours' worth of hot vomit drying on a regular basis.

This poll is close. And shouldn’t be. That’s sad who won’t give up! Why would you pay actual money to watch us get skull dragged by bottom feeders. Bet same once’s saying no, date chicks who resemble a walrus

Lol

This program isn’t going broke from “us clown shows”.........”if” it’s going broke it’s because of all the bad hires, then fire’s, then payouts, then new bad hires.

It’s fairly simple.......it has nothing to do with me.....or any of us fans.

I would prefer them to spend a bit more at the start and have a better chance of success.....and saving money in the future.......and making more money from us clowns.

Administration, and bad coaching is the problem......not fans.....or even me.

I’ve watched Tennessee football for over 40 years.......as long as I can remember. I’ve been to countless games. I’ve bought countless merchandise. And while I did not have the opportunity to go to school there I have many family members who did.

I love the Vols prob more than a person “should” love a sports program.

Things are bad.......if we’re being honest.......there terrible, and have been.....at least with the football program. I complain because I want better for the program, for the kids and for us fans.

I also make a lot of jokes, as to “try” and lighten the mood at times and even help some of us struggling Vol fans, as many times laughter can ease the pain for just a bit.......from all the garbage we all have endured for well over a decade.

I have supported when the Vols were decent but very inconsistent. I have when they were really good. I have when there were decent, and have since they have been down right terrible........and I always will.

However along the way, I will speak my mind, I will complain, and I will joke.......and I seriously do NOT care if anyone does like it or not.

While I would love for everyone to like my comments, and be happy, or laugh, or get into a discussion or debate......that’s up to them.....and if some don’t......oh well. I’ll be me.......and they can be them.

On a side note......I thought that was one of my funniest comments of all time. I guess no one else felt the same. I almost spit out my own tea just typing it out.

If Tennessee does what any other program would do that is committed to winning and admits it made a huge mistake with this guy, I would renew. If Bama McCall comes back, I’m done.

I can talk **** all I want. Especially to some 'fan' who wants to undermine the revenue stream of my beloved Volunteer football program.

I would hypothesize that the inept Administration and string of underwhelming hires including Pruitt have done more to threaten the revenue stream than a fan talking boycott on a message board.

Maybe you should have a chat with them as well.

The virus vaccine with millions of doses available will again permit the return to filled stadiums and attendance.
Wherever you stand on the vaccine....
I don't think 100k fans would pay to watch this program.
I do not watch on TV anymore.

Never. Why would I go into next year not supporting our players? Our record would be 0-0. They deserve our support for their hard work and dedication to the University of Tennessee Football program . There’s no guarantee that we would suck next year because we didn’t suck last year in October and November like we did this year in October and November. We’ll have a clean slate. Now if we come out and play like we did this season I won’t blame fans for not going to games. However, I think organizing an #emptyNeyland movement before a season even starts is ****ing embarrassing and would make our fan base look even more nuts than it already does.

I try to make it up for a couple of games a year. This year I haven’t for obvious reasons. I don’t see any reason next year even if the lockdowns are lifted.

Until a change and commitment to winning and egos get put away I’m out. At this point I don’t think there are any fair weather fans left. They bailed a decade ago. The only ones left at this point are the ones that care and it seems most of us have had enough until change happens.

I haven’t been to Neyland since 2012, Mizzou’s first trip. I hadn’t been in a fairly long time, I just couldn’t afford it, but the experience was nothing like I had when I was a kid. For folks like my wife and son, who had never experienced it, they loved it.

That’s about the time I got into college baseball. Anyhow, we support ‘em from home, never miss it.

GBO!!!

Won’t be purchasing season tickets next year. Outside of the current debacle that the football program is, it isn’t a sound financial decision at this point. I can’t make my money back selling tix to games that I can’t make. Hopefully by the time I move back to TN in a few years we’ll have a product worth planning a Saturday around to see. Always a Vol fan, though.
