I don't make predictions. There are too many random factors that can happen in September and October to know about them in July.
I used to do that, until the season after Peyton graduated. With him gone, I heard folks asking that question, and I just said, "Hell if I know." I just went to the games week by week, hoping we did not get a bunch of key injuries and the team found a way. And guess what. Well, if you are dumb enough to not know what happened that year, look it up.
So, I don't play that anymore, and try to ignore those who do. Nothing against those guys, but when they are right, they walk around overly impressed with their perception of their own intelligence as though they did a single thing that helped a win. And if it goes wrong, they cry like little girls about it.
But the main reason is a lesson that great team taught me. Don't walk in with arrogant expectations. Just be there with us, and inspire us to be our best.
Or maybe it just made me superstitious. Whatever. As long as it works.
