I'm only 27, so obviously I can't say for sure, but I think he is. I just can't see how anyone could be worse. Because let's face it, the ONLY reason he's playing is because we really don't have a QB.
Get a grip.
It was his 2nd game in a new system. They guy hasnt had any stability as far as coaching staff, schemes, and or game plans throughout his entire career. Crompton may not play to some of yall's standards, but Im willing to bet he sucks far less than some of you experts.
You are obviously not UT's #1 fan. You, like so many others on here, are merely fair weathered fans who can't wait to blast a 21 year old kid. Get a grip. A true fan supports the Vols even in (actually, especially during) the tough times.
Any half wit can sit behind an anonymous name and take petty little potshots. Is Crompton struggling--sure. Is he the greatest we've ever had--absolutely not. But number one fans don't treat players like this.

Do you not agree that there is a #1 QB in UT's history???? If you do, then by default there HAS to be a "worst" QB in UT's history. I'm just asking that question..... Not everyone wears those orange tinted glasses and drinks that orange flavored kool-aid you and your Cromptonites drink.
And it now goes further than him just making "mistakes." I believe he PURPOSELY gave little to no effort to make a 1st down in one particular play last sat .
If you'll remember, it was like 3rd and 12 or something, and he rolled out to his right and pressure was coming BUT he just threw the ball at the feet of a player. He could have ran another 15 feet parallel to the LOS looking for a WR to get open, but what does he do, he sheepishly grounds the ball on a big third down when we're down 9 points late in the 3rd.
Now Im not saying make a bad throw, but he could have easily kept rolling out looking for a WR and if nothing developed, throw the ball into the stands. I believe he did that with the mindset of, "Ok, you don't want me to force it, Ill just ground the ball and see how you like that....." Real mature....
I'm not the only one that recognized this play, afterwards there was a hail of boo birds from the stands.
