That’s so deceiving. The sacks go against the rushing yards. Most of the runs went for positive yards. The issue is we didn’t run it enough imo. And we didn’t have much top in the first half either. I want to saw we had it for 11 minutes or something like that. Either way...reality is the qb is our weakest link. They qb drastically outplayed ours. Which is insane. Theirs has played in 3 games prior to tonight and had 3 acl surgeries

How do you know its the worst SC team in a decade? Their QB looked pretty good and Shih Smith is a helluva reaciever. That's just your opinion. It will take more than one game to proclaim them the "worst SC team in a decade".

That game is 96% on coaching, had we run the ball that team would have folded in the fourth. Stupid play calling and needless passing kept them in it. We know the identity of this team, we have a limited qb, a solid OL and good rb's. We all know this is a run first team to facilitate the passing game. But our offensive staff somehow forgets or ignored strengths and attempts to play to our weaknesses.

This type of performance isn't an anomaly. This was a GA State level bad performance- except good running by Chandler, a Defensive TD, and Gaurantano not putting our defense in bad field position.
This South Carolina team is early 1990s BAD! App State or Louisiana would beat them by 2tds at least.

Celebrate. It's a win, but I just see it as fools gold. Just delaying the inevitable...
We're in trouble.

Abosuletly agree. Unacceptable. But gotta be fair. He hit what ended up being a beautiful game winner.

Think it's fair to give him next week and see what he looks like

You degrade poor performances against poor teams like USCjr untl you see an inspiring win like on against UF, UGA, Alabama, etc....because that is who you are aspiring to be in the conversation with....not USCjrs....

In years past these are the games we always lose. Let's be glad of the progress our program is making as we are now WINNING these types games. We didn't play a perfect game but a win is a win is a WIN. There were some good things I think we did well and plenty to clean up. Hopefully we can make a big jump from game 1 to game 2 against Mizzou next week.
