Please let this be true!

Why is this so important to you guys? You are acting like it's a sure thing that Hillary Clinton would even get the party nomination in the unlikely event that she ran. What happened to her the one time she faced stiff competition in the Democratic primary? It was in 2008, and she lost badly to Barack Obama. The only recent precedent (and I'm only going back to 1960 when I say "recent") for a failed party nominee garnering a party nomination for a 2nd time is Richard Nixon and he was much younger in 1968 than Hillary Clinton will be in 2020 and far more popular in his party at the time as well.

Its not "important". Its hilarious. The fact that the idea even is being floated around shows how bad of shape the democrat party is in. It shows that there really is no true leader who has emerged for them yet who isn't a complete lunatic. Its almost like the DNC wants 8 years of Trump.

Also..my comment was a play on "lock her up, lock her up". You have to say Let her Run with the same vocal style. Try it. Lock her Up. Lock her up! Now go Let her Run. Let her Run.

Now have this:

Democrat nominee requirements for 2020:

Not white
Cant open a jar of pickles
Does pushups on knees
Extensive barista experieince
Does not have public seizures
Does not talk like a robot
More insane than sane
Doesnt pass out in 70 degree weather
Gender fluid
Pseudo communist

When it's Bloomberg vs Trump ... We will see if Trump is still boasting about:

1) His wealth - Per Forbes, Trump's net worth is $3.1 Billion. Bloomberg's net worth is $51.6 Billion.

2) Attending the "best schools" - Trump went to Fordham University and Penn (Wharton School of Business). Bloomberg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Harvard.

3) His business acumen. Trump made his bones in real estate. Bloomberg has built Bloomberg L.P. into an empire which now includes Bloomberg News, Bloomberg Message and Bloomberg Tradebook.

Bloomberg is a moderate and even leans right on some issues. But he can beat Trump. This is all about getting rid of Agent Orange at this point as far as I'm concerned.

On a side note, can't you just hear the Trump howling the first time Bloomberg breaks a negative story about him during the campaign? His reaction would be priceless.

Hahaha Bloomberg, I am sure his soda taxing ways will really resonate beyond the looney West and East coasts. The Left just simply does not get it

Can’t remember who but there were a few on here bashing Trump for his business failures. Bloomberg has a few himself, yet they won’t admit that.

No problem. Bloomberg is strongly in favor of free trade.
He is pro-business and he is a fiscal conservative. As the mayor of NYC, he balanced the city's budget. He is much more of a fiscal conservative than what we have seen from Trump, at least so far as President.

Great, how does he feel about the ability for one to defend themselves?

How does he feel about taxes?

Illegals?

Yeah, Bloomberg urged anyone in public housing be fingerprinted. He’s like Trump, getting DNA from these illegals crossing our borders, right?

He also started the controversial "stop and frisk" policy. Bloomberg is tough on crime. It won't be easy for him to get the party nomination but if he does... Trump is toast. Bloomberg is more of a true conservative than Trump is on many things. He won't spend as much as Trump and he believes in a smaller government than Trump obviously does.

How does a mayor with 4B starting out end up with 50B in 12 years in office?

If this is really true, you are more likely to see the destruction of the DNC as we know it. The identity politicians (Black, Latino, LGBTQ) will mostly stick around. The Antifa/socialist/hard core leftists will move to a new party and the working class Dems will probably be left out in the cold.

The working class Dems lost our party years ago

Bloomberg could win the nomination, especially if the demorat primaries are rigged in his favor.

Bloomberg's message of Open Borders and Sanctuary Cities and Amnesty for Illegal Aliens will resonate with the party's base.

And I guess you don't believe that Trump is leaving the White House without at least tripling his net worth? Get real.

What could Trump run on vs Bloomberg? It's not easy to see. From trade to fiscal policy to crime, most conservatives should prefer Bloomberg. Trump won't even be the wealthiest person on the stage in a debate or the most successful businessman. What would his angle be? Trump is running down Elizabeth Warren right now but that is dumb. He should want to run against her. He would win... if it's Bloomberg? He is in trouble.

When did pro-business and not running up deficits become a “right” issue? How exactly is he pro-business? It wasn’t difficult to find that he raised sales taxes, property taxes, and pushed for “health” taxes on goods the Left doesn’t believe people need like soda. Bloomberg, like the rest of the Left, has never met a tax he doesn’t like. He also wrote a masterpiece of an op-ed lambasting the very idea of tax cuts in 2017.

You really don’t have the first clue about conservative principles, do you? You think being a Republican makes you conservative. Tax cuts are conservative, Trump has already done that and we know Bloomberg’s feelings on it in his brilliant op-ed. Enforcing the border is conservative, it is nearly laughable to suggest Bloomberg would push for stricter border laws or a wall. Trump cannot pass a budget, that would be the great Ryan and McConnell’s jobs. Are you suggesting that Bloomberg would somehow be able to balance the budget without massively raising taxes and cutting spending? We all know what the Left would think about that. Free trade at the expense of millions of American jobs while racking up huge trade deficits isn’t conservative, and Trump is currently trying to improve it. That leaves fringe emotional issues like gay marriage, LGBTQ, social security, and ICE; no doubt Bloomberg would run to those like a whore in heat.

They used to actually have a platform for the working class, then they went way too looney trying to secure votes. You don't hear much about jobs with them, it's all social stuff, and calling anyone not them deplorable and racist. Heck, they defended a violent gang simply because of votes. They don't give a crap about America, they wanna stay in power to get rich, and crap on us.
