Wow. Brooklyn with legit blackout. EVERYBODY in that arena is wearing black, save for a few Bulls fans who are easy to spot.

You saw that Noah is out for the Nets series, right?

No Rose, no Noah and Gibson is playing injured I believe.

If the Bulls pull it out, that would be epic failure on the part the Nets imo. I know they've played strong all season but Brook Lopez, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Gerald Wallace should prevail over what the Bulls will be trotting out on the floor imo.

looks like i was probably wrong on this one, game 1 is ugly

Lot of opening weekend blowouts. Hope the games are better the second time around. Especially down in San Antonio :) .

Playoffs usually don't get interesting until home court is flipped. There are some truly great "home teams" this year.

I was excited about the Denver-Golden State match up and I still think there could be some great games between the two but Lee going down makes me wonder.

Spurs looked like a team that will run through the West. If they're healthy, it'll be them and OKC in the WCF.

Hoping the Grizz can turn it around after their late blowout loss.

The funny thing about Lee going down is that Karl might decide to give his bigs even fewer minutes, so the injury may not give Denver an advantage. McGee only played 23 minutes with Manimal out. Cs and PFs combined for a total of only 55 minutes.

I always thought the playoffs are best when the series switches to the other city.

So it appears that Russell Westbrook is done for the year. I guess the whole playoffs are building to a huge anti-climax because this injury pretty much nukes any hope OKC had of competing with Miami, and they probably had the best shot of anybody.

That's too bad. I thought Thunder had the best followed by some combination of the Clippers, Grizzlies, Pacers and Knicks. But the loss of Westbrook is no good. The sad part is, I said all along I would have traded Westbrook before Harden even donned a Rockets jersey after being traded. Harden is just cold blooded and his clutch 3's all the time. He can run the point if needed and was a team player by coming off the bench. Westbrook will keep chucking even if he's bricking everything when you have Kevin Durant who should be taking those shots. But yeah... Westbrook is great. Should have been Harden anyways if OKC was smart. This sucks kinda because I like the Thunder. Small market that built their team through the draft.

These are sweeps that I think both will happen.

Knicks sweep the Celtics.
The Knicks are steamrolling the Celtics without a problem like they are playing the Bobcats. 10 years since the Knicks last won a Playoff series man this is a long time.

Spurs sweep the Lakers.
It's like the Spurs are playing a D League team hugely embarassing.

The Nets beat up the Benny the Bull, but it was the Bulls who would not be denied.

A missed open dunk for the Nets.
A 14 point lead blown, three Bulls foul out but Bulls still able to beat Nets in three overtimes.
The Bulls made the third win a terrific win that could be one of the greatest in Bulls History including in the Post MJ Era, also one of the worst losses in Nets Playoff History.

Mets, Jets, you can add Nets as another New York team that knows how to blow a lead for a win, and all of them end with ets.

Wow, what a horrible lineup of games today's slate turned out to be. Three straight games of teams likely finishing off sweeps before we get to the only game worth watching tonight at 9:30 when the Warriors and Nuggets play.

They're a better team with Westbrook, but even without him they still win the west, I think. If Denver fixes their minute allocation I think they can beat the Thunder, and maybe the Spurs can too. Reggie Jackson isn't bad, and they're just going to have to rely on Durant more which could be a good thing.

I figured they'd still make it to the Finals. Miami will destroy them though.

Don't discount my beloved Grizz :) Not everyone can thump the Floppers like we did last night.

Stephen A Smith called Robinson's game a top 5 all-time playoff performance.

Hard to deny. It took the Celtics 4 games but finally they aren't getting steamrolled by the Knicks. A two point lead with a lot of time left in the Fourth Quarter.

Then you were wrong all along.

The winner of the Clippers-Grizzlies series has a great chance of winning the West.

I disagree. It might have been an all-time 4th quarter, but overall game is absurd. The only thing he did well was score, and he didn't even do that all that well.
