PizzaGate

Girls singing a song is now child pornography? What? I'll argue that, feel free to question my judgement.

A video Sexualizing kids. It isn't technically child porn. I'll grant you that. But it might as well be if the intent is to stimulate an audience of pedophiles. Given who originally sent Gunn the video, it isn't too difficult to imagine they would have been stimulated by said video. If I were on a jury, I wouldn't convict Gunn of child porn based only on his Twitter page. But this isn't the court room. I'll go ahead and assume he is a creepy pedophile because that's exactly how he portrays himself.

Rape and pedophilia jokes have been written into Family Guy for 20 years. Nobody cared. Will the Twitter virtue signallers and pizza gate nuts go after Seth MacFarlane?

I hate this brand of humor, but would like to see some consistency in the outrage.

Have you even read the James Gunn tweets? Apparently not, based upon this response and false equivocation. Seth McFarlane has for years called out the degeneracy in Hollywood through humor (i.e. the Kevin Spacey basement joke with Stewie. McFarlane's joke about award nominated actresses not needing to pretend to find Harvey Weinstein attractive anymore). It's certainly not high brow humor, but within the context of family guy, it makes sense and no one is questioning if Seth McFarlane is promoting the acceptance of pedophilia. Not the same with James Gunn.

It's not virtue signalling to call out cringy and downright horrific comments about pedophilia for what they are. What James Gunn wrote on twitter is absolutely disgusting. They're not edgy, they're not funny, there's no context, there's no nuance. It's very interesting how the pedophile defense force has circled the wagons with James Gunn in certain segments of the media and Hollywood.

There are a lot better hills to die on instead of defending someone who talks about climaxing to a video of prepubescent girls touching themselves, a video that was shared with Gunn by a certian Huston Huddleston, a man who is convicted of possessing child pornography.

The bottom line is that if Rosanne Barr making a joke, an albeit bad joke, about Valerie Jarett looking like a character from Planet of the Apes is a fireable offense for Disney; then dozens of tweets about rape and pedophilia should also be a fireable offense for Disney as well. This is not someone being ostracized for political speech or opinion. This is about a company equally applying their own standards in the case of their employees social media presence.

How about Dan Harmon of Rick and Morty and Community pretending to rape a baby? Is this something that we as a society should accept? Is this just sexual preference? Is this something that an employer should be prohibited from taking action against? Should pedophiles be a protected class? If you look at mainstream media articles in publications like Salon....They're arguing the case for the acceptance of pedos in an article which has long since been deleted from their site, but is easily available on a variety of archive websites.

There are objectives truths in this world. Neither Harmon nor Gunn are making some kind of social commentary. This is not a critique of our culture or the current zeitgeist. This is pure degeneracy, and it deserves to be called out for what it is.

A sex offender found guilty of possessing child pornography, and sharing a video entiteld "100 prepubescent girls touching themselves" to a public individual on twitter who routinely tweets about pedophila, would more than likely fail the Dost Test.

It wasn't really a defense of him as a person. In fact, he called him an ****** in the same post.

What he critiqued was the eagerness of a culture willing to destroy lives over trival things and promote de facto censorship.

By the way, as far as being a "cuckservative", the dude is easily the brightest and most articulate young, conservative mind out there.

Ben Shapiro is a Never Trumper. The literal definition of a cuckservative. In his own words he "doesn't give a damn" about the demographic replacement strategy of the Democratic party through open borders and an insane immigration policy. Shapiro is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He's a pied piper. You can get a much more entertaining, and more honest, critique of the SJW left by following Tucker Carlson.

This is an excellent and well thought out post. Seems like an educated person wrote it..a doctor or lawyer or something. Huh.

The resident "lawyers" write drivel that is befitting the prepubescent girls you mentioned above. Wonder why the discrepancy...

There’s a difference between de facto censorship and stigmatizing jokes about raping children. Further, he works at Disney making movies for kids for crissakes. I can see why they wouldn’t want to associate w someone who has joked about raping children. Choosing this case as an opportunity to virtue signal is dumb.

Ben’s smart. But sometimes he gets it wrong.

Maybe you should start another thread without the Hillary, Podesta, Dnc narrative and connotations.

So you’d be on board with going against pedos as long it isn’t against Hillary and Podesta? Even tho there is plenty of smoke around them. Sad.

Did you notice on my OG post that I said it’s not a good look that Trump has rode on the Lolita Express? Figured you’d have your hand down your pants on that one.

Keep your head in the sand while people with real world influence are molesting/selling/trading/raping kids and women. I need to find the stats that show the increase in human trafficking arrests under Trump.. doubt real life numbers would cause much concern from you tho.

When did Seth MacFarlane ever share a child porn link on his Twitter?

I don't think GoG director shared such links. He shared the link to and hosted a video of a kids choir singing the DeVynils song "I Touch Myself" and made inappropriate comments about it.

You're correct. It isn't child porn. I shouldn't have made that claim. It is, however, overt sexualization of kids. Not cp, but still, Wtf...

One thing that does look good for Trump. I read James Patterson's book, "filthy rich" about Epstein. Epstein was recruiting 12 year old girls to "massage him" at Mara Lago. Trump got wind of it and kicked Epstein out and revoked his membership. Kicked out a billionaire for making sexual advances to another member's daughter.

I don’t think Trump is on Bill or Posestas level.. just that it wasn’t a good look with his past meeting with Epstein. Did not know about that story though, thanks for sharing.

He should have called in his muscle and had them give Epstein a going away party.

"Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, VolBraniac, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementeiff and Michael Rooker all signed an open letter addressing the issue and calling for Gunn to be reinstated as the film’s director. "
