I have always felt (whether rightly or wrongly) that gay men were oversexed. No single gene for anything, obviously. There are billions of genome-pairs. But this study and others clearly peel back how genes predispose us one way or the other with much more work to be done. Who we fall in love or lust with is not choice like going down a buffet line.
Another fun quote from the article:
"The abstract for Ganna’s talk referenced another provocative result: Heterosexual people who possess these same four genetic variants tend to have more sexual partners, suggesting associated genes might confer some mating advantage for heterosexuals. That could help explain why these variants might stick around in populations even if people attracted to the same sex tend to have fewer children than heterosexuals. Ganna did not touch on that finding in his talk, citing lack of time. "

You're doing what you claim not to do, superman. You're making personal moral judgments about my actions. You just suck at having rational discussion, apparently. I suspect you realize how utterly pantsed you've been here, and this is your last ditch effort to divert from your exposed rear end.
I never claimed that they are "no different" any more than I was claiming that there is literally no difference between stealing and insulting someone in a previous post. Or any more than I was saying there is no difference heterosexual sin (which I've been guilty of) and pedos in the very same post!
You're a liar or a moron.
If you want to have a discourse, have one. If you want to not be shown for being what you claim to hate, stop being what you claim to hate. But don't stoop to such lows as the post I'm having to respond to. It makes you look idiotic and desperate. It's actually possible to view two things as wrong, to claim two things are wrong, while seeing distinctions between the two.
I honestly don't know why this bothers you so much. It is not that complicated.
Two men who love each other engaging in a consensual relationship is not abnormal or a crime.
Pedophilia is a crime. Murder is a crime. No one ever consented to being raped as child or having their life ended by violence.
If you want to conflate those things, go ahead. But you are very wrong.

You got him now! Here's a story on the new footage

It bothers me when people are bullied and harassed for doing exactly what the bullies do every day. It bothers me that culture has become so irrational. It bothers me when I'm in a rational discussion with someone and they try to lie-bully me with "you called homosexuals pedos" in order to escape the points I've just made.
Other than that, it doesn't bother me much, aside from enjoying rational discourse such as this. Now, back to the elephant in the room.
You are welcome to that opinion. Why did you feel the need to bully 72 and smear the faith of others for having an equal and opposite opinion?
The greater question for the ethic you seem to be arguing (they want to so it's moral) is "Why should they be illegal if appetite==moral? If appetite != moral, then your argument falls apart.
Back to that elephant. You seem very free to offer your opinion while having bullied others for having/applying theirs.
LOL, oh, wow!You are starting to sound a just a little unhinged, my friend. Take a few breaths. You are at your computer in a safe space.
You are attributing a lot of arguments to me that I have never made. It is clear that you think gay people are what is it . . . "abominations" perhaps . . . and you are personally affronted and bullied and shamed if someone comes to the defense of these dirty, dirty creatures.
I'm sure you'll survive though. You are a big tough man, not some weak-assed liberal snowflake, amirite?

You may just happen on a partisan Democrat that was totally OK with Trump back then but now has a change in opinion just because Trump is now a Republican. That's how it has worked so far.If I'm a reporter in Buffalo and I know a former cheerleader who attended that party, I'm calling her up. Trump partying with a known rapist and pedophile is newsworthy, especially if she recalls what went on.
Yes. Genes and hormone variations in gestation explain pretty much everything. Gay is just one way people are born.
