Pizza time?

I'm not sure most people understand the difference between reporting and opinion. Honestly, the line is almost seamless, especially on the internet. People who have ever read actual newspapers, on a regular basis, probably would be more apt to understand the difference.
Older farts like us should better understand, too. But even my folks followed the "don't believe everything you read" admonition.

I guess that would explain the repeated claims around here that the media was totally wrong about Trump/Russia when the Mueller report actually confirmed most of the actual journalism.

In the end the conclusions, drawn by pundits, about what the stories meant weren’t fully supported, but the facts were mostly accurate.

CNN posted this? Jim Acosta did, but not CNN, that I know of.

At any rate this has been more of a viral video. Karem is actually a reporter for Playboy, which are his WH press credentials, but also listed as a CNN analyst.

I'm sure there's more video from the beginning of the exchange, might find out who was the bigger ass.
No, it's the two CNN boys.

Why Republican Sen. Bob Corker is so scared Trump will start World War III

And he's far from the only one. The broad consensus is that Trump is a uniquely dangerous commander in chief, one whose inconsistency, dishonesty, immaturity, and inability to control his anger pose a genuine risk to the national security of the US and the stability of the worldas a whole.

Donald Trump acting like reality TV star but could start World War 3, Republican warns

Trump Could Start World War III With Another Syria Airstrike | HuffPost

Bob Woodward’s new book reveals a β€˜nervous breakdown’ of Trump’s presidency

At a National Security Council meeting on Jan. 19, Trump disregarded the significance of the massive U.S. military presence on the Korean Peninsula, including a special intelligence operation that allows the United States to detect a North Korean missile launch in seven seconds vs. 15 minutes from Alaska, according to Woodward. Trump questioned why the government was spending resources in the region at all.

β€œWe’re doing this in order to prevent World War III,” Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told him.

After Trump left the meeting, Woodward recounts, β€œMattis was particularly exasperated and alarmed, telling close associates that the president acted like β€” and had the understanding of β€” β€˜a fifth- or sixth-grader.β€™β€Šβ€

Watch this video. Pretty clear based on the setting and circumstances.

None of it's proven false. What has been proven false is the Mueller hoax.
Hey hill, have a coke and a smile and fk off.

Not shocking that the site’s two biggest purveyors of fake ass conspiracy theories don’t understand the difference between factual reporting and opinions, analysis, and journalism.

Journalists reported that the Russians attempted to interfere in the election (confirmed), they reported the meeting at Trump Tower (confirmed), they reported who was there and who they worked for (confirmed) they reported that Manafort passed info to Kilimnik (confirmed), they reported that Trump tried to fire Mueller (confirmed), they reported that Trump attempted to have Sessions intercede in the investigation after recusal (confirmed), they reported that Don Jr. communicated with Guccifer (confirmed).

Pundits and some politicians (and significant numbers of the public) took that information, looked at Trump’s behavior, and offered prognostication in varying levels of hysteria, that the Trump campaign was involved in the attempts by the Russians. This could not be proven.

I didn't say reporters. Didn't say journalists either.

You thought my use of the word "media" implied what exactly?

Even disregarding your posting history; the use of the word β€œmedia” in conjunction with the word β€œlying” and the reference to the Mueller report eliminate the need for inference.

You were talking about facts. But it seems like your gripe is really with opinions.

The theory unravels when it’s just bad punditry because opinions are much easier to evaluate than facts. They have significantly less independent persuasive value.

Reminder - this is the part of my post you bolded and asked for links

What about the media lying for 2+ years to the American people implying that Trump is actually a Russian agent?

The media started calling Trump a Nazi over 3 years ago. Promised viewers that Trump would start WW3.

No mention of the Mueller report. Do hard news / fact based reporters typically imply?

So you thought there were some fact-based stories of Trump being a Nazi? Or of him starting WW3?

You’re trying way to hard to win an argument I’m not interested in. You started it with your request for links. I provided links showing a few examples of the types of things I’ve witnessed consistently over the last 2-1/2 years and you immediately start lecturing about people not understanding the difference between fact-based hard journalism and op-eds.
When the majority of the media coverage of this administration appears to be opinion-based and not based on facts, what are the people that disagree with those opinions/narratives supposed to think?

If you’re completely unwilling to acknowledge the obvious bias of 90%+ negative coverage of Trump by the MSM, then that’s unfortunate for you.

Can you honestly compare the media’s coverage of Obama to Trump?

It’s blatantly obvious.

The coverage has been as comparable as their words and actions. There is a little bit of the chicken or egg conundrum that can't be ignored.

Just attempting to get you guys to consider cause and effect.

My TDS has morphed into TFS. Trump Fatigue Syndrome.
It's like an amputee adjusting to the loss of a limb. (Except for the comfort of knowing that the limb will more than likely eventually regenerate)

Glad to see that you are adapting to the loss of your mind. I don't think that will regenerate but you never know with science these days.
