pit bulls i hate em

Huskies and Malamutes are friendly dogs. Can't believe they're on the list.

The one time one bit me was when I was still living at home.

It snowed really hard and some how he had caught a bird. He was laying down holding the bird under his paw and pulling it's feathers out with his teeth.

I made the mistake of trying to get it from him, next thing I know, my arm is in his mouth.
It didn't hurt at all, he was just letting me know it was his bird. I hit him in the forehead and left him alone.

Malamutes are extremely territorial. A good breeder won't sell you one if there is another one close by.

I find that Chihuahas are usually the most aggressive breed. Mean little bastards. Plus they always want me to drive them to taco bell. What's up with that?

Way back in the day, I worked for a veterinarian as a tech (a kind word for a combination surgery assistant - meds administrator - poop-and-vomit shoveler.)

Without a single exception, when it was IV time I could coo at a Dobie or Rottie or any other large breed (this was before pit bulls) in a cage, reach in, pull out a foreleg, press the front of the elbow joint to make the vein pop out, stick in a needle, and pull blood and/or inject. Sometimes they'd lick my hand in the process.

I could do this with cats too (proud about that one.)

But little dogs: they're nothing but bug-eyes and teeth. And if you do manage to get them, they pee all over you.

I have met little dogs that were cool, because their owners were cool, and treated them like plain old dogs. But most that I've met were dressed in little outfits and fed chocolate bon-bons and sat on (doubtless by accident), and they were just freakin' nuts.

I don't know why the site has boxers on the list. Boxers aren't aggressive. People think boxers are mean because of their stocky appearance. I've had four boxers and they are highly intelligent and loving animals. I've been around tons of dogs and this is by far the best breed evar. And of course, this is just my opinion. :p

My neighbor had a tied up Boxer and he was aggressive. Again, I think it just goes back to how the dogs are treated. Boxers are very cute dogs and I wish I could say I have met a nicer one since then.

I have a boxer, and he is the best dog I ever had. He is great with kids (my kids ride him like a horse), and very smart. The only person he dont like is the meter reader guy from the electric company. But he is the only person to go inside the fence without my company.

The bug-eyes and teeth is the inner rat trying to escape. :) My Lola will go through many animals. Sometimes she is like a cat; sometimes she is like a ferret; she looks like a fox and rat hybrid; and most of the time she is just plain stupid. But I love her. I actually don't put clothes or a collar on her because she stays inside so much and because putting clothes on her is like torture. I must admit I have thought about getting her a small Vols shirt.

Bigger dogs do seem friendlier towards children. I believe Chihuahuas are known for not being kid-friendly. This has been embarassing for me on a few occasions as I am good with kids and enjoy their company. But Lola tries to get really far away or she gets defensive so fast. I think I will get a big dog one day if I ever consider getting another pet. It would be nice to feel like the dog is taking care of me sometimes.

I bought my kids a chihuahua one time, brought it home and sat it down in the living room. Before I knew it the little bastard had the curtains tore down and had chewed two holes in the couch. Needless to say that dog found a new home that night.

did you tee him up and field goal kick him?

the best dog I ever owned was a dachsund. All the others were either too hyper or too dumb,

Apparently I own the only tame Chihuahua on VN. I'm going to kick a FG between FG if he doesn't stop this cruel verbal abuse against Chihuahuas.

Chihuahuas are good dogs, they are just too hyper, too grouchy, too anxious, too protective, too annoying, too mean, too messy, and too small. But otherwise, good dogs. :p

 Aight mayn. I agree with the anxious and protective part. Sometimes Lola can be a real creeper.
