Will pig play this weekend against Ga State? He just tweeted. @Hunnit0nmyway_2: God is Good! I'm back in buisness #VFL.

Really hope we can get him some snaps this weekend.

One of my favorite recruits in this freshman class. He can be used at multiple positions and like manningberry said, he can really spread the defense. Him and Devrin on the field at the same time will be fun to watch.

Can't wait to see him. He had the most impressive highlights I can remember watching. However it usually takes some time for a freshman to make it on the field at receiver. Add to that all the time he's missed and he may have trouble contributing this year at receiver. Of cours he could get some pt on st's. Would love to see him return a kickoff

Or, he could redshirt and actually develop from a superior high school player into an elite college player. Research a guy named Carl Pickens for an example.

Would rather keep him. The good players always leave junior year now a days ;x

We don't have enough Wr depth to redshirt a weapon like him

You might be right. I think when Rodgers seen CP and Pig he knew his catches would go down.

Lol, our all-sec WR was not worried about his catches going down bc of CP or a freshman that hasn't played an SECOND game and prob won't play much if at all this year.

Will definitely see a lot of kids playing this weekend in the 2nd half. Guessing we will see Pig and Carter and Worley for the entire 4th quarter and many others. I am hoping that Bray, CP and Hunter only play the first half and we have enough points to rest them for UF.

Living near Orlando (behind enemy lines), I saw Pig Howard play live three times, plus I have seen his highlights on local TV many, many times. In high school, he's played WR, RB, and QB. He can throw the ball OK, but he's a wildcat-type QB. He also is very dangerous as a return guy on special teams. In one of the games I saw him live, he caught a pass for a TD, threw one for a TD, and returned a punt for a TD, all in about 10 minutes of game time. The first time I saw him live, when he was a junior, he had more than 200 yards in receptions, including the game-winner with 30 seconds or so left in the game. The kid can play.

Rogers didn't care. Seemed to think smoking weed was more important then competing in the SEC and making millions on Sunday. I would say he could care less about Pig amy CP.

Please elaborate on what your trying to say. Why does Pig need to redshirt in order to develop into an elite player? Carl Pickens redshirted in 1988 because he didn't play in the first few games of the season and then when CJM tried to play him Pickens refused to give up his redshirt. Pickens left after his junior year anyway. Pickens taking a redshirt didn't make him an elite player. If I'm correct Pig was an early enrollee so if he's physically ready to play I doubt he will redshirt.
