If this is proven to be true on the part of Brandon Johnson or anyone else on the team, then CJP ought to consider the nuclear option. The nuclear option being the release of those players from the program. Because as I read the NCAA rules, scholarships are renewed annually as opposed to being a guaranteed contract for a longer period of time. Not hard to believe. We've had confirmation that Brandon Johnson didn't want to go to a crap bowl and just wants to go home
100% agree man. This is why you see such pathetic performances by some guys (Richmond, Buchanan, and the whole offensive line didn’t care to be out there)If this is proven to be true on the part of Brandon Johnson or anyone else on the team, then CJP ought to consider the nuclear option. Many on here will remember a few years ago when Tyler Bray held similar sentiments. That attitude is as toxic to a program as it should be terminal for any such player's tenure in the program. If they're not bought in, then they've sold out for self and need to go.

Chances are they missed the carefree, soft attitude of the previous doofus too muchAfter the crap show coaching seach that ended with a guy with 0 experience as a coach, can't blame any player for being skeptical. It's a shame none of the staff was able to make them believe or apparently have fun or any pride in themselves or the program. A huge part of coaching is winning the locker room. It's tough when that is impossible for the staff.
My thoughts exactly. If this is proven to be true on the part of Brandon Johnson or anyone else on the team, then CJP ought to consider the nuclear option. Or why didn't CJP give them the boot? Surely he knows who these guys are. If he cleaned house, fans would've backed him. Especially in year 1. Instead, CJP showed that he's willing to allow a cancer to fester in the heart of the locker room if it gives him a shot at a couple of extra wins. How is this guy any better than Butch? My question would be.... Why did they stay and waste everyone's time?
That mostly happens when coaching changes happen. When the staff can get their guys in, this will be a better team. I assume the QB was one of those that refused to buy in...Not a difficult sell at all.
You feel bad for the guys that did. This roster wasnt good to begin with and people pulling the opposite direction make it very difficult
Man shut up...Or why didn't CJP give them the boot? Surely he knows who these guys are. If he cleaned house, fans would've backed him. Especially in year 1.
