Phillips and Tuttle say “all weren’t bought in”

I did not follow that...what were some of his comments? That’s very interesting.

Before the season, it looked like Tennessee had a lot of momentum for Crouch. That all changed once the season began and Crouch got a good look at how much of a rebuilding process the Volunteers are going to have to go through. He has a lot of respect for coach Jeremy Pruitt and knows that he could turn him into a very good linebacker.

The other coaches have built strong relationships with Crouch, as well. The players and Crouch did not necessarily seem to mesh very well, and Crouch is looking for a team that is full of players that are focused just like him.

from Farrell on Crouch after his visit last week.

I think cutting ties with coaches would be a huge mistake right now. Rather, it's clear from reading stuff like this and comments from players like Tuttle that the thing that really needs to be done is we need to "clean house" --- release these players that aren't buying in. It's tough to win in football when you only have 50% or 60% of your guys playing hard. You need 100%.

Correct. And the other benefits of being a scholarship athlete. Hard to believe, but they do exist.

Triggered a memory... the school I attended had a separate food line for the scholarship athletes... all the good stuff, many options to choose. I would be so envious of them as I always seemed to be down to nickels and dimes and had to enjoy an order of fries for my lunch on campus.
