He knows how to act in his role and work with others. When Adam Gase was his OC, Peyton easily could've trumped him if he wanted to. I don't think he'd have a problem being the QB teacher and let the OC and HC do their thing. In fact, I bet he'd prefer to have a smaller role and just focus on his part.
This +1000. Does anyone really think that he wasn't the OC when he was with the Colts???
