I mean it's just a little weird that Peyton would need to publicly support Tee. IF they've had issues that's something you deal with out of the press period. Generally these guys call each other up and congratulate each other or do it face to face when they see each other. Press releases just seem disingenuous to me. Maybe it's just me though.
Don't know if there has ever been any issue between Tee and Peyton or not.

My issue with Peyton is that he sold he soul to Jimmy H and the political world.
He's turned into a sellout over what is the best for UT.
He back pedaled every word that he ever said about Schiano in the NFL, to not rock the boat on who Jimmy wanted to be the next head coach.
That does bother me, but I guess, I just held Peyton too high of an standard.
Tee is a big boy. He doesn't need Peyton to approve of him and besides, Peyton doesn't owe Tee anything. Let's wait and see how Tee does before we pat him on the back. They were teammates during some of the good times, and Peyton should make a public (Support) press release for Tee.
If they've had issues (That I don't know of) in the past, it's time to bury the hatchet.
edit:
Tee should not just be any ole assistant to Peyton in my opinion.
Careful, laddy, this Pey-god you're talking about. This could get you in serious trouble. Especially if what you post is true on any level but non-flattering. The problem isn't Peyton himself, he's overall a really cool dude. It's his worshippers you must watch out for.

I don't think for one minute there is any hostility between the two. Come on Volnation, let's enjoy the moment and not conjure up negativity when there's no evidence of it.
