That man deserves another ring. I hope he finds himself in a good situation next season, whether that's with the Colts, or anyone else.

You have it backwards... whichever team lands Peyton will be finding themselves in a good situation

you people have lost your minds... PM is done, clearing to play means that his neck has finally fused and he gets CLEARANCE, there is not a reputable Dr on the planet that isnt telling he SHOULDNT play again. AND he has a brachial plexus injury w subsequently a weak arm... and oh yeah he cant turn his head for crap any more... watch him move.

Arm strength will not be a problem. I was an athlete all my life and at 60 years old can still chunk it pretty darn good.

Now he's got to get his arm strength up! Go Peyton!
He's been doing rehab all this time, so it's not like he's been sitting on the couch watching re-runs. He'll probably be fine working out as normal in the offseason through training camp.

He'll be let go to open cap room. Too much risk, plus his age. Sucks, but that's the way it goes.

I would love to see him get the opportunity to play elsewhere. Ursay obviously wants to move on. Let Peyton pick a team on the cusp and see what he can do.

I'd like to see Peyton in Houston with Andre Johnson, Foster and an honest to God defense for once in his professional career. And no, I'm not a Houston fan, I just like the fit for Peyton.

Schaub will be back next year.

Peyton beats most teams prior to the snap. Hes a great passer but his biggest weapon is the 10 seconds between breaking the huddle and walking to the line. Hes going to beva great snag for anyteam thats grabs him from the colts and automatically puts them in superbowl contention. Colts are dumb if they let him go.

Please mr. Adams let peyton come home!

Adams isn't the owner of the Saints

That is precisely what the problem is. He can not throw with any kind of decent velocity. He has hit a plateau in his recovery and that is not good for his long term forecast.

This is not a matter of his will or a matter of just working to get stronger. This is about the nerves connecting and regenerating. The doctors are saying the nerves may not heal well enough for him to ever make it back onto the field.

No team is going to spend millions of dollars f their cap space on a QB who can not make the throws with a similar velocity on them, that made him famous.

This entire ordeal is about a public relations battle between Manning and Irsay and nothing else. Manning should have waited another week to talk about this instead of upstaging his brother during Super Bowl week.

As much as I like Peyton, it seems to me the doctor was under pressure to give clearance. I could be wrong but given clearance and to think that means full contact. I know people who have neck, back injuries and surgeries that have no contact just normal lives and they still have trouble.I hope I am wrong but I can't imagine Peyton expecting to qb that much anytime soon or even fulltime or his doctor from my experiences.

I hope the 9ers sign him!!!

Assuming the nerve damage heals, I think that's where he probably ends up.

Great defense, great coach, good organization, good running game, good o-line, Vernon Davis to throw to.

And most importantly, a TON of cap room even if they keep Alex Smith on the roster as insurance.

did anybody else see that tweet on sports center from Irsay? saying that Peyton had not passed the Colts physical or performance exam...that pissed me off so bad. The Colts were nothing before Peyton and they'll be nothing after him. If Peyton shows up without a leg and wants to play Irsay better give him the ball and say thank you for everything he has done for that organization. The nerve of that man.

Irsay doesn't owe PM anything. PM was paid for his services.
