Peterman

Was just accepted into the Memphis School for the Dumb and Blind, but he got cut from their football team. Good luck, Nate. Keep an eye out for those kids, ears open.

Hasn't found a team that would take him? On scholarship at a SEC school and no AAC, CUSA, Sunbelt, MAC, etc team doesn't have room for him? I find that extremely hard to believe.

Was that supposed to be funny?

Obviously not, rooster. I don't know why you'd even suggest it as humor.. Just asenine. ../blue

On a more serious note..

I would place a wager that I don't find humor in all the same things as you two, or any other individual, for that matter. Yes, I have a dry, dark humor. My mistake? I'm sorry you failed to see the joke.. Maybe you guys go to school with Petie? Whoops, there I am again!

Anyway, my post wasn't really offensive, nor did I attack anyone specifically beyond throwing a clearly untrue jab at Nate. I'm sure you'll counter with "at the expense of dumb/blind kids," but honestly, it was very generalized, and didn't really degrade either, at all, so.. not really.

I guess I just don't understand why either of you replied. I guess I'll start replying to jokes too, asking rhetorical questions about their intended purpose. Do I only do that when I disagree with the joke, don't understand the joke, or have some connection with the butt of the joke? Please clarify for me, guys. TIA.

OK...E-wangs have now been measured and compared. We know where everyone stands. Now back to rooting ( no pun intended ) for the same team.

Once you make a fool out of yourself by claiming to be an insider that knows the scoop it is hard to shake it off. Especially when you do it on the same subject day after day after day.
This is the reason you have to defend yourself everytime you post something. As you get older and start to mature it will all come to light.

Nah....people like you are the reason he has to defend himself every time he posts. Let it go man. This is going to be a really boring place once you are successful in squelching anyone who may have some information share. You may disagree, and the info may turn out wrong in the end....or perhaps not. But DTO and others DO know people with information, and perhaps they know something you don't.

Believe it or not, we are all fans of the same team....try and remember that.

Now....flame away.

I expect a full apology from you soon.

Secondly, it's pretty freakin funny how little you are able to comprehend words. Never once have I claimed or attempted to claim being an insider. In fact, most of the guys I know, have been gone from the program for years.

However, thanks for allowing me to live, rent free, in that head of yours. I'm sure it gets in the way of the fry timer that you have to monitor.

I can def see him leaving and betting the Coach's know. No way they take 3 QB's this class unless Nate is gone or Jennings won't ever play QB. Now I doubt Jennings ever plays QB at UT but even if some wild chance Nate is still here I see Dormady or Jones passing him on the depth chart. Don't see Dormady and Jones both redshirting this upcoming season.

Lots of people on this board have a dark and dry sense of humor, including myself. Nate seems like a good guy that I'd get along with, but I will admit I've cracked a joke or two at his expense.

Your joke was just lame and not funny. That's why I put that.

Smh. Okay roosterjbh. I apologize for posting such a terrible joke - though, still clearly a joke, as pointed out by you - in a thread on a forum. My bad, man, really..

I can only hope that one day my e-wang gets to be as big as yours.
Edit: ^ Not a joke, sorry for not clarifying sooner.

Something is not adding up with your stats.

Agreed.Would think Dormady would have the initial advantage over Jones with him going to Spring Practice but will be a fun batgle to watch. Not sure Jennings ever plays QB but if by some chance he does he would be the most likely FR to need to RS.

JJ is throwing with Dobbs. Dormady isn't throwing yet (last I asked).

The QB recruits were all told that they have the shot at battling out for number 2 and Peterman would be leaving.

JJ is picking up the offense pretty well so the spring game should be fun to watch.

That's good to hear on JJ. I honestly don't have a preference on who I want to play QB I just want to see consistency like we used to have. Do you see the skillset in JJ as far as his passing ability? That's my concern with Dobbs is can he be consistent as a passer. I know Dormady and Jones are more polished in the pass game than JJ and would think if all 3 fr qb's healthy that just from a straight learning the position that JJ would benefit the most of the three.jmo, just from hearing these recruiting guys it seemsto that JJ has more upside as a safety than QB. Then Kendall coming in next class we will have a huge logjam at QB.

I don't think we're going to see Dobbs or any QB being consistent behind an OL like we had this past year. Worley wasn't consistent, either. He had as many, if not more, missed throws in each of his games.

What's funny is people knocking on Dobbs passing when he was above 70% in the Bowl game. If the OL improves dramatically this season, his consistency will naturally improve.

Peyton Manning had tough games this year, when his OL had trouble protecting him, too. That's why Elway mentioned they are going to get him some more help on the OL.

If Blair steps up and handles his business at LT, Charles Mosley takes over at RT, and Coleman Thomas starts at C, I think this OL might flip from being a liability to a strength on this team.
