Peterman Transferring?

Guys assuming Peterman is transferring just because he isn't living up to what you want him to be need to chill out. CBJ and Coach Bajakian have both said they have no indication that Peterman is leaving. He can change his number and not transwer ya know. In fact it is perfectly probably that he just offered #12 to Dormady since he had that number is high school. You guys are practically pushing him out the door when all he's done is give his all for Tennessee with a smile on his face despite all the hate he's received from fans - including me. So let's all just chill and put this whole topic to rest.

Tennessee State,North Alabama,West Alabama and Coastal Carolina are some other places he could go.
umm the chances h would transfer to TSU (a HBU) of which I am an alumni re somewhere between slim and none. Talk about culture shock.

By issuing the statement Bajakian is giving Peterman his stamp of approval. He wants Peterman and thinks he can help the program. Peterman will have 3 years in the system and will be the best option to back-up Dobbs. In 2016 Peterman will most likely get passed over as the freshman mature but they will not be ready in 2015.

Great, it gives supposed adults on VolNation another 20 year old to bash.

Peterman is a big boy and realizes he isn't the starter.

Saying he isn't the starter does not equate to "bashing" him.

Why do so many, such as yourself, feel the need to ride the white horse to defend his " honor" ?

More to the point, maybe you need to take it up with the coaching staff directly instead of bleating on here ad nauseum about it since everyone is missing the boat on Peterman,

"Josh, for the first time, is in a position where he's going into the offseason and next season as the apparent starter and can really take ownership of this team and lead it," Bajakian said. "It's a matter of having that forum and having that position with validity based on what he's been able to accomplish on the field and really be a presence among his teammates. I'd like to see him step up in his leadership role and lead those young guys, and we have quite a few, in terms of how to prepare for the future and how to go through an offseason."

I don't remember the posts saying he isn't the starter. I do remember a lot arguing that he shouldn't be on the team.

That's not the case in this thread from what I have read. Other schools have come up, but that was with the rumor he was transferring still being alive.

And I am sure there were a lot less kind comments being being made in the 2013 UF game thread about him.

Of course, that was over a year ago now and it's quite apparent who Jones wants to be his starting QB now.

I just don't see the point in white knighting for Peterman when someone says he isn't starter material.

It's just beating a dead horse so that some on here can prove they are somehow " better" fans more than it has to do with actually truly believing Peterman hasn't gotten a fair shake at this point IMO.

Maybe the best scenario for UT and Peterman is for NP to stay at UT his junior year and then transfer and play his senior year. But maybe he wants to be on the roster for the Battle at Bristol and be a part of college football history.

Tennessee State has started to have white players on their football team as far as i know.

Does he really have that much eligibility? It just feels like he's been here forever.

Why? I had thought TSU was getting away from the Traditional Black University thing and wanted to be just another University. If you think that's racist,i don't give a sh ite. To each his own.

Lighten up Francis. It's a running joke on here.

You can't tell around here a lot of the time unless it's in blue lettering Sorry man

No worries '67. I get a chuckle out of posters who post that anytime any color is referenced at any time, when race isn't remotely a factor. Just a way to keep things light when much of the world seems to have lost its sense of humor these days.

Racist for you to bring it up, IMO.
