So Dan Mullen loses his starting quarterback and has to play The Back-up, who hasn't played or started all year and almost wins. And you're saying he's not a good coach?
I am baffled by the ridiculousness and underwhelming football Minds on this board. Whether or not he's the next football coach at UT, to say he's not a good coach is being intellectually dishonest and shows a fundamental lack of football knowledge.

Honestly Ive always thought Mullen sucked. Has a losing SEC record....26-30 overall SEC play and 13-26 vs West teams. And before you use the excuse the West is tough remember that we have to have 3 wins vs West teams to win an SEC championship.....1 random and have to beat Bama twice.
Mullin is not a championship coach.
He lost to Bama this year making Butch type decisions that cost them the game.
Id pass on him for that alone. Hes an ok coach. But we fired Fulmer because the standard is championships. That hasnt changed in my mind.
He has told his team he is returning next year so it doesnt look like hes a concern of ours.
