Paul finebaum show

No argument here. But he really is a nice guy when/if you meet him off the air--and fun to talk to on the air. As long as a caller isn't a TOTAL idiot, he's genuinely interested in what a fan has to say. BUT if he challenges a caller on something, the caller best know what he/she (not ze) is talking about, otherwise he can slice and dice with the best shock jocks in the country.

It's a bush league show no matter what it's named. I only watch games on that network.

Our defense deserves to be bashed for giving up 400+ passing yards to a MAC team. My real question is why most Alabama fans begin yelling as soon as he answers their call...

Because that's what they've always done since the show was nothing more than a Bama-Auburn daily afternoon war.

Which brings me to something I'm kind of halfway considering. I am the only regular UT fan caller, despite there being a LOT of Vols players, coaches, and fans who keep track of the show and what's being said there. I'd kind of like to organize a specific day when as many UT fan callers as I can find all call--and keep calling--so that we turn the conversation toward Knoxville and away from that state down south. If we could do that--and really blasted out on social media that we're going to inundate the Finebaum show--I wonder if that wouldn't make a difference to some of our team. Or our fans.

In fact, I was thinking that doing it during Florida week would be the best time to set it up.

I'm in. Would have to be a Friday.

Finebaum Friday is usually crazy, plus they'll be on campus in Gainesville--so that would be PERFECT timing. I'm working on my 'only good Gator' video rant for that week--may ask them to hold it until Friday (only if it doesn't suck). If we could get a horde of Vols flooding those phone lines early, we could destroy Florida calls before they're even made.

Which of course is the point. There's nothing funnier than a frustrated gator...unless it's a fritter, battered and deep fried and served with a spicy chipolte sauce.

I could get behind this. I don't call now, because I don't want to associate myself with Phyllis from Mulga or Tammy from Clanton or any of the other mental patients who call from this state. However, me being a caller from DEEP within enemy territory would really set them off.

Wow. Finebaum: "You beat Tennessee last year. Congratulations. Try beating them in Neyland Stadium. I'm fired up for this one."

Striker's comments made him do a complete 180 on our chances. Marcus Spears not too happy either.

boom goes the dynamite!!!

never have called in, but when PTI doesnt have Wilbon and Tony, I almost always go here for a few laughs from some of the crazy fans who call in.....he gets decent guests with somewhat objective opinions.....better then anything on the flagship.....besides the aforementioned PTI

He usually is. I *rarely* call in as a homer fan, but I will Friday most likely. What is great about having Marcus there is that he made my point for me in the end. So it all works out.

And Marcus called me a guru so now I feel all important and stuff. LOL
