Paul finebaum show

That's a pretty good assement of him, but his biggest problem with UT was when they were beating Bama on a regular basis, he thought Fulmer turned them in to the NCAA to gain a competitive advantage on the playing field. PF had a real problem with this not because they were cheating but because he fully believed that Fulmer was cheating too. He really dislikes Fulmer for this and was embarrassed as a UT Alum to be associated with his type. Now that Fulmer is gone and no longer part of the UT program on a daily basis, he seems to have tried to mend a fence or two with UT and he really likes and respects Butch Jones and what he's doing a UT right now. But, he still kisses Bama and Saban's ass as a daily part of his show, and I think that's just to anger the Auburn folks and keep them stirred up all the time. Basically, Paul Finebaum is the pulse of the Bama fanbase, he listens to them and jumps on thier bandwagon. For the most part, whatever angers Bama fans angers him too. IT WILL BE VERY INTERESTING TO SEE HIS REACTION IF UT EVER BEATS BAMA AGAIN, AND ON A REGULAR BASIS.

True...would be cool to test that theory. :)

But what are you comparing it to?

The SEC NETWORK is only showing us more games (which I like ) and some coverage of other sports we would probably not see otherwise. And 4 hrs of PF show.

We don't want to copy the BIG10 Network. (I mean the BIG10 cannot even count. Someone needs to tell the they have 14 in their conference. :pepper::pepper: ) I just think they have a better overall format for their network.

It was a joke. I was mocking the B1G conference because they only have 2 good teams and the rest of their teams are slow and not good.

When, not if, UT beats Bama again, I believe Finebaum will tell the whining Bama fans to man up and win the game if they don't like the outcome.

His show will be a reflection of who is on top and who calls his show. He may flavor it some with Bama as long as they are relevant but he won't make the show about a team that is losing more than it's winning, which is where we have been for awhile.

it's anyone's prerogative whether they listen to the show or not...but it does cover the entire SEC or at least all the teams that are relevant. He talks to virtually every coach in the SEC as long as they are willing to be on the air, and the other guests talk about various teams, recruiting, game predictions, players, etc. They also cover other key stories outside the conference if they/he believe them to be "newsworthy"...i.e. there was an ad nauseam discussion on Winston during various stretches the last couple of years....same lately w/ Meyers and tOSU.

The call in discussion is generated by the callers...which are predominately UA/AU fans but there are others sprinkled in. The only way to change that aspect is to call in if you want to discuss team x. Actually pretty simple....unless your dim...and then he's liable to make you sound even dimmer.

The sec has two " cash cows" bama football & uk basketball always have and always will be. The sec network is unfortunately about what I expected.

Idk about all that. In basketball, yes Kentucky, but nobody gave a s*** about Bama for an extended amount of time until Saban got there. To say "that's the way it will always be" is bs.

come on now...Boomhower at least seems to be likable. Lance comes across as a first class jack@$$

The wife and I have heard this guy 4 times now and we have yet to be able to understand his meanderings.

Tennessee fans will pick up the calling rate during our championship prediction period of June to early September, then fall off after we start SEC play

Not if we are winning. If we don't win some of the bigger games then Yea there won't be many callers.

Why dont they call the show the bama kentucky sports show.

Well honestly AL/AU fans are who made Finebaum who he is. Those 2 idiot fan bases have made him very rich. And to be honest I much prefer Ala/AU fans calling and making themselves look like a bunch of unintelligent imbreds and not some of our fans.
