Patriots fire Mayo

or Hooker
Sorry, I don't want either one of Heup's old quarterbacks getting stuck with that crap organization. Hendon and Joe deserve better than the Titans. So does Josh Dobbs. Maybe they can give Jarrett Guarantano a shot at some more NFL cash. And he can't be any worse than "Pick Six" Levis.

It’s all about getting Vrabel. I live in Nashville & was so made about them firing him. That was the 2nd to last straw, last straw was “trading up” to get Will mayo boy Levis as the new franchise QB. Titans suck, I’ll stick with UT & their 10-3 record, men & women’s BB, baseball, softball & every other sport!

Pretty common to have probationary status for a year in a new job. Gives an employer a chance to assess you in your new role. Maybe his employer simply didn't like what he saw even aside from the wins and losses?

i feel badly for a whole lot of people getting a tough deal in their workplace. Mayo is not one of them.

I don't see the Titans trading back since they have the #1. They'll take a QB or Travis Hunter.
Which vet QB would you want them to pick up?
Speaking of FA I'd like to see Trey come home but TN is where go for your career to die LOL
Darnold or Kirk Cousins. It doesn't make sense to spend a first on a QB when a good game changing QB is not available.

I don’t care. Who’s buying? Seriously though, I wouldn’t wish Aaron Rogers on anyone. Colts fan here. I wouldn’t surprised if we end up with him. Who’s worse: Richardson or Levis? Or Rogers
At least Richardson has some upside as a runner. Not sure why he was picked in the 1st either.

Sounds as though Kraft had been grooming him as successor for some time; you expect something - a glimmer - of potential that apparently Mayo didn't demonstrate. Aside from getting a shot and $3.5M for it, Mayo was owed nothing.

If Kraft is to be critiqued, it probably should be for elevating a position coach to HC, having never been a HC or even coordinator.

Great Vol, great pro, best of luck to him.

Lots of successful NFL head coaches were neither HCs nor coordinators before being given a HC job
