I love both. I'd take Phil since Riley never had to deal with Kobe Bryant.

FWIW, advanced metrics suggest that Pat Riley wasn't any better than the players he coached, and Jackson is one of two coaches* observed who really made a positive difference.

*the study measured player improvement the first few years with a new coach. Virtually every coach (60 coaches observed) improves players their first year together. Pop and Jackson are the only coaches observed to consistently improve players into the second season as well. Jackson was the only coach that consistently improved players in their third season together.

Can I trade Laettner for Shaq and Mullin for Zeke? I want what the dream team really should have looked like.

Shaq - yes
Zeke - no

By 1992 Zeke was a very inefficient scorer and he was only getting 7 APG. On a team like that you want a PG that passes (the reason the Iverson and Marbury-led USA squad sucked). Meanwhile, Mullin was scoring 26 per game and shooting the motherloving lights out.

First off you could have ran the point and the Dream Team would have won. Second Zeke>>>>>Mullin. Third the only reason he wasn't on the team was because MJ and Scottie were whiny beeches.

Only part that isn't true.

Zeke is one of those guys where great talent gets confused with great play.

That part is true too, Mullin could shoot and that was it. He was terrible on D, bad handle, ok passer, bad rebounder, wasn't going to lead a team anywhere. In the RUN-TMC years he was the third best player on the team. Put Mullin in Zekes place on that Pistons team and the don't win the championship.
