The reason this comes up is because the nation is in SEC overload. 7 national championships in a row, think on it? Alabama going for the 3rd NC in a row, 4th in 5 years. Give it some thought? CBS and ESPN has already shown SEC matches that no conference has come close to duplicating, even once. The Alabama/Texas A&M, LSU/Georgia games have been high drama and the college world has been watching and considering them as games of the year. Oregon/Cal, not so much, duckman. The pac 12, that boost of so much parity of strength among the ranks are incapable of putting on the kind of fireworks, throughout the season, that continues to typify the SEC dominance these pass 7 seasons. Truth is, you don't know and will not know what you have in Eugene, until you actually play an opponent that can physically match up. With so much strength of conference in the pac 12, I don't understand what's taking so long?
Worried about one loss SEC team getting to the NC game? Check the latest polls? One loss Georgia at #6, ahead of undefeated Louisville and Florida State. A one loss Texas A&M team at #9 ahead of undefeated Oklahoma, at #10, A one loss LSU at #11 and a one loss USCe at #12.
When the ducks have to finally play someone, anyone, with a NC heartbeat and loses, you too will be looking up at the Bulldogs and Tigers of the SEC. I submit, much like last season, it's the pac 12, with all their supposed parity of strength, that had better keep it perfect.
