Lol ok guy. Peyton Manning, Erick Ainge, Worley, and the Clausens could scramble better.

You are a funny dude.
You're a road scholar..
Manning had 12 rushing TD's...How many does JG have? JG almost has as many negative rushing yards in 2 years as Peyton did in four years.

Jalen is in the process of moving to California with his best friend and has moved on from UT and has zero bad feelings towards the fans.

He did what’s best for him.

It was not a good fit or culture when he was here.

You definitely aren't a Rhodes Scholar yourself.

As evidenced by your belief that qb sneaks tell anything about scrambling ability. Matter of fact all his rushing tds were sneak or bootlegs that were wide open because of his lack of scrambling. Defenses wouldn't even look his way on those bootlegs. Maybe we if we had a better oc and other threats we could get some walk in untouched qb bootlegs.

As was trending earlier in the year - Preston Williams and Jalen Hurd scored more touchdowns receiving than did the University of Tennessee
18 TD's to 15

Receiving yardage was close with Williams and Hurd racking up 2291 yards and UT accounting for 2357.

Just noting that we could have used these two this year. Not sure our qb's and offensive line could have allowed them to get the ball - but they were able to get the ball to them at Baylor and Colorado State.
Both played in leagues that are not nearly as good as SEC top to bottom. Vols this year would be a bowl team in both those conferences.

Callaway and Chandler >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Williams and Hurd
Insane.

I actually first mistyped this as Insand. I could have left it that way, it works too. Like an ostrich's head. There's actually a number of colorful phrases that could describe the kind of thinking that make a person think Calloway and Chandler are better than Preston and Hurd.

Two of the four will play a ton of Sundays. The other two are currently vols.

Unless they get on the bad side of all the cannibals over in the attrition thread.

Hurd should be an NFL Vet right now and P.Williams was a complete waste of talent mismanaged by Butch. I don't blame him for leaving. We should have gotten him the ball more, but we were insistent on RPO and having Dobbs or the RB run 90% of the time

Tall running backs that should be tight ends - hurd that... Still kills me about Kamara not getting more carries and Hurd not being used correctly.

Who cares, we didn't quit on them they left us. Doesn't matter who caused it, good luck to them both!

Hurd begged to switch positions as his back was killing him due to running too high and being too tall for the type of RB butch schemed around. The hits were adding up and causing constant headaches. Guy was sitting in dark rooms hours at a time when he came home.

If Butch had moved him to WR and made Kamara the featured back, Hurd would hsve stayed.

He is too damn tall for RB now. Guy is damn near 6’5 now.

Blame the coach for not giving a damn about a kids health AND being too stupid to know Kamara was the better back for his scheme.

We didn't have an OC that could gameplan around the pathetic OL and JG's limitations to get the ball quickly in space to playmakers (in this case, Chandler, Hurd, Williams, Callaway, Jennings)....
When the line can't or won't pass or run block, just what game plan would you have ran? I am serious. I would love to hear what you would have done. Offense starts with the line, we didn't have much of a line this year.

P. Williams is a star IMO. It really upset me when he decided to leave.

J. Hurd- Idk how I feel about this dude. I don't know the full story but I don't like how he quit on us either way. He was playing for Butch Jones though and apparently there's been a lot of issues between old player and Butch that's starting to leak or has been leaked. I don't wish anything bad on him. I'm sure he'll have a decent football career.

If we had Heisman front runner Tua throwing it to em, it wouldn’t matter. This offensive line would destroy many a good player’s career.

Last I checked he was recruited as a RB now I understand players change position but it's what is best for team in the end. Not to mention he just flat quit, I don't agree with that but I do agree with Kamara being the better of the 2.

Honest question to get clarity on your stance....

It’s the Fourth quarter of the championship game. The QB gets a serious concussion. Coach knows it but still sends him back out to seal the victory....cause this crap has and does happen.

Does the QB just go back out there cause is best for the team?

Cause this is the kinda crap Hurd was dealing with and it was either suck it up buttercup or quit and transfer to we’re he would be able to still walk at age 35.

Lol. They werent great but they were all better than JG. They all won more games and more importantly, more SEC games. Heh, Worley even had better completion % numbers a couple of years..that must tear you up inside. Crompton achieved more in his last year than JG ever will in his entire college career. Hell, they all could at least scramble out of the pocket, something JG is incapable of doing or just doesn't understand what that means. Hard to tell whats going on with his blank stare.
Rick Clausen was better than anyone listed above. We need more guys like that
