You serious Clark?

I said all along that on the surface, the leap in graphics next gen won't seem as quantum as it was from this generation. However if you know what to look for you CAN see where advances are being made.

1.) Particle effects: I've noticed a ton more particle effects in games that have been shown for next gen compared to last gen.

2.) Facial animations & expression. Just look at games like Watchdogs, Infamous Second Son, the Dark Sorcerer tech demo from Quantic Dream, etc. Characters now have a level of expression that weren't there current gen.

3.) Cleaner lines & edges. With the boost in ram, characters and environments will be less jaggy and appear more smooth and "CG" like.

4.) Larger scale: World will have the potential to be MUCH larger than before. I read somewhere that in The Witcher 3, just one location is larger than all of Skyrim and that game has several locations!

5.) More dynamic lighting and contrast.

There are more things I could list but you get the idea.

You do realize that the tech in the current gen consoles are about 9 years old right?

Plus first titles in a new generation are NEVER a good indication of what those systems can do! It's already been confirmed that Killzone: Shadowfall was developed when developers still thought the PS4 was only going to contain 4gb of system RAM.

There is no possible way BF4 would run on current gen

This. Usually the first batch of games of a new generation usually don't look that much better than the past generation, but it doesn't take long before they do.

Unless you're Nintendo.
