Not sure who's leaving but I'm sure we lose Mathews. Next season is going to be painful. The portal hasn't been our friend. We never seem to get the better end of the trades. We are going to struggle at QB next season. If Merk leaves, we might have a true freshman QB. I almost prefer it if the kid sticks around more than 2 seasons.

Iā€™m sure someone had reached out to his ā€œhandlers.ā€ We gave him more $$ last offseason during the Nico debacle.

If he leaves, he leaves. I donā€™t want him to leave but realistic to know the name on the front of the jersey doesnā€™t mean šŸ’© to most.

Itā€™s the fans that love the team and university. If I had a million dollars laying around I would be more than happy to help with NIL as I love my Alma mater. And, I admit TN athletics is important to me. So I donate and purchase tickets and go to as many away games as possible.

I think he has finally learned he can play in our system and he would not have to learn a new system if he stays. It took him a couple of seasons to figure out our system and has played well in it this year. I think he stays. I know we will have a lot of talent at WR talent coming in, but they also have learn our system so him should be playing a lot next year.`

I would go ahead and dismiss him from the team for an attitude detrimental to the team and stop payment on any ongoing $NIL. CJH tried to give him a second chance but Boo didnā€™t take. Best of luck elsewhere but elsewhere should start today. JMO

Who knows who may be poached off of our roster. Gonna have to pay up to keep some of our more effective starters. The duds who leave because they aren't playing enough can go. They're unnecessary. We need some winners.

He's not winning the #1 job, that part I can guarantee you. Only reason he's #2 is so they can let GMac sit, learn and gain some muscle. Merk will NEVER be the starting QB at TN.

From what I know, Heup hates conflict and tings getting out beyond the locker room. Boo is younger than my son snd usually Iā€™m careful what I say. But, heā€™s burnt many bridges with his teammates and coaches. Idk if he is attending practice.
