My thoughts exactly. As I read this my stomach turned. I can't say I enjoyed the weekend the same way that they did. Hell, I haven't even been able to look at anything UT related and not have my stomach turn. I wish we could feel the same way about that weekend as they do.
All the Oklahoma fans I encountered were great, except their pep band members!!
We're just here to help Oklahoma and it's fanbase have a much more enjoyable football season than ours.
There are plenty of Tennessee fans who are content with going to Knoxville, tailgating, going to the game, and heading home. A win is fun and a loss is no big deal. I envy those people sometimes.
I think you're taking what he wrote way too seriously.Your ability to be an a$$ has no effect on a football game in Neyland Stadium. As a fan, you can only effect the game if you join the other 100,000 fans in making noise to encourage the Vols to play harder and to make it hard for the other team to hear their signals.
Other than that, screaming obscenities, throwing things, and being disrespectful to visitors does not effect the game and really does nothing but prove that you are an A$$.
Enjoy the game, cheer for your team and act like your parents raised you right. If you can't do that, I'd just assume you would stay at home because you embarrass the entire Vol Nation with stupid behavior!
DC, not meant to aim this at him. But, there are a lot of young people who apparently think it's their duty to mistreat anyone who is rooting for the other team. Not sure how they think that gives the Vols a better chance of winning.
Now, get off my lawn!!![]()
