There continues to be a shocking amount of ignorance here and elsewhere about the kind of players Oregon now has in the trenches. Oregon's current run is not entirely predicated on speedy skill position players - Oregon has future pro talent up front on both sides of the ball, and an elite secondary. The weakness at the start of the season was undoubtedly the RB depth, and the inexperience and, to a certain extent, size deficiency in the linebacker group. The former is quickly becoming a non-issue, as Marshall grows into the kind of workhorse we thought he could be, and Tyner emerges as a big play threat in his own right, and the latter has largely been covered up by the heady play of both the LBs and DBs and the overall athleticism of the front line. This is not a team with the same weaknesses as the previous few Oregon has fielded. It's a deeper, more talented squad than any of the groups that made the previous 4 BCS bowls.
