Orangeslice13, a blessing to those around him…..Again

Slice. Text me, bro. I have a buddy who might want some work done if you wanna travel to the 615.

Hey Loudervol, I just looked again. You can see me my reflection in the tv. Well....the shorts I'm wearing and boots anyway.

Vampire skills are on the fritz

There is no Good Friday.
There is no resurrection Sunday.

But hey, don't let scripture get in the way of your corrupted pagan worship service

I really don't think you thought that joke threw.

You're comparing the blood on the door. (The very thing Jesus/Yeshua fulfilled in our covering) to the greases of an animal that G-d said was unclean. Do some research on the "abomination that makes desolate" to see how the Diety might feel about the subject.
While the joke doesn't really bother me (and for those reading I know louder IRL and consider him my friend) I fear that YHWH may be a touch more hard nosed on the subject

I'm not arguing, with anyone, and will not engage in this conversation. But if it continues, I will be interested in following it.

That said, what does "G-d" mean? If it's God, why did you type it like that. I don't know and just curious.

Also, unless it's none of my business, what is IRL and YHWH?

god is a term every religion uses. Also Messianics (that's poeple like me who practice Judaism from the perspective that Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah) have a level of respect for the name of G-d that we replace the o with a - to make clear we aren't referring to just any god.

For the same reason we eliminate vowels from the name of G-d. (YHWH)

IRL- in real life.

I enjoy these conversations and can have it without the fake anger loudy and I show each other.

and likewise the only reason I give slice crap is because I know him and have nothing but respect for him.

this is just one of those areas where you and I disagree on faith. Yours is centered around the jewish rules/tenants (jmo of course), mine is centered on the personal relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit, that I believe is called for.

why give free will if we are supposed to be so hide bound to all the freaking laws in Leviticus. Outside of the 10 commandments Leviticus is all culturally formed where very few ties to faith: Kill this many doves on this day after you have done this.

and much of the basis for pork being outlawed(whatever) is because they were/are filthy animals, in a time where germs weren't understood and food wasn't cooked thoroughly. So yes I believe God does take it serious in that it can make us sick and possibly kill us. But I don't see how eating pork gets in the way of our relationship with God.

And I inherently believe God has a sense of humor. Now whether or not that particular joke crossed a line, idk. but that is between him and me. and I think like with us, God and myself have a good enough relation where there is no harm to such jokes.

And to answer the next question "Yeshua " is the Messiahs real name and means "YHWH is salvation" as opposed to "Jesus" which is a translation of a translation which doesn't really mean anything.
Using His real name brings meaning to verses like

Matt 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Yeshua for he shall save his people from their sins.

Having said all that, I don't think it matters which name you use as the power is in Him and not his name.
