Orangeslice13, a blessing to those around him…..Again

Did your Yellowstone plans get messed up due to the floods? Are you still planning to spend most of the time in Yellowstone? I can recommend hikes in the Tetons if you are planning to hike there.
We definitely had to change some things around, as some of our stuff got cancelled but not drastic changes. We have 5 nights in Grand Tetons, 6 in Yellowstone, and 2 in Montana.

What are your GT hike recommendations? Thinking about Jenny Lake to Cascade Canyon, Stringer Lake/Leigh Lake and Taggart Lake.

True story:
I just told all my employees I quit.
There were questions. Some disbelief.
One even asked…..can you quit?beb
Another said we’re supposed to say that to you.
i was asked….what about the contracts? I sold those.

I’m now the most qualified handyman in the history of Chattanooga. Starting Monday.

It’s been a decent day.
Would you be interested in a Building Inspector job for the county.

I used to walk to the Stringe/ Leigh Lake area and hang out and read, pretty area. Also good area to sea kayak or paddle board.

Walking around Jenny Lake was not my favorite. You can take a boat across the lake to the Cascade Canyon trailhead and have time to hike farther up the canyon. That is one that I was going to recommend. There are some great loops, but they are 20+ miles. Just hiking up the canyon is beautiful.

Death Canyon area is also cool. You can hike up as far as you like. Phelps lake is a quick side trip to jump off a rock into the lake.

Table Mountain is great, but you have to drive over to Idaho for that one. Harrison Ford did a helicopter rescue there for someone that had altitude sickness.

Dornan’s in Moose is an absolute must stop to sit on the roof and have a cocktail or glass of wine.

You still do your other job?
When you worked for me years ago I had 5 employees. I had grown a lot since then and I hated it. this is going to take some adjustment. Yesterday I didn’t have to answer a single question, correct anyone, plan anything. All day I felt like I should be on the phone or dealing with something.
My day to day life is going to be very different from here on out.
